The night after that, Haruna was able to return to her place safely and Rina was happy to spend quality time with her, yet she felt bad that she lost her parents and she know that she's currently fighting for her survival.
Rina was satisfied and sad at the same time, she was confused for Haruna's part. She seem so normal like the other students. And, not to mention very good at hiding her pain and past.
Well, I admired Haruna not because of her looks, but because of her outgoing personality. I'm just a bit lucky that she didn't know that I have a girl crush on her, even if I was too obvious to show it, she still wasn't able to find out. And, that's a very good thing.
Oh, I almost forgot that tomorrow is already Monday! Wow, time sure flies so fast these days.. But hey! At least, I can spend more quality time with her, then have more talks with her during free time. So, I think I should for tomorrow, right?
Later that night, Rina started preparing all the stuff she needed for tomorrow including her school uniform. She finished preparing all the she need in just half an hour! Wow, how fast, right?
Rina then sat to her boss chair and opened her netbook. She went to facebook to check if Haruna is online, but she wasn't. She pouted and went to her bed thinking about her. She closed her eyes for a while and thought of things..
Without knowing, she was already a deep slumber. She woke up early the next day. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and took an hour long shower. She went out the bathroom soaking wet with a white towel wrapped against her wet body and another towel to hold her wet hair. She quickly changed into her school uniform and did her daily activities. After that, she walked herself to school.
On her way, she saw Haruna, yet she was running quite fast.. Was she in a hurry? I started to run as well and followed her, I called out her name in a shout and finally, she stopped and turned to where the voice was coming from and saw Rina catching up to her.
"H-Haru-chan! Finally, I caught up to you! Are you in a hurry?"
"Oh, sorry about that.. I'm actually not in a hurry, I just like running, that's all~"
"Oh, can we walk together?"
"That'd be lovely!"
Haruna and I walked each other to school while we chatted with each other. We got in to school just in time the bell rang.
"Ah, I have to go now, Rina! Thanks for walking with me!"
"W-wait.. Err.. what class are you in anyway?"
"3-B. Meet me at the rooftop this lunch break, Rina."
"H-hai.."
We bid our farewells and went to our respective classes now. Wow, I never knew Haruna was only a year older than me! So, does this make me her underling? And, she can be my master! Wow, I feel lucky to be a younger than her..
So, I guess I'm back to reality and I could clearly hear my teacher discussing complicated math equations which almost everyone hardly understands a word except two girls in my class, Mami Sasazaki with her best friend, Tomomi Ogawa which was sitting beside me.
They are like the smartest kids in our batch and why am I even in the same class with them? I mean, they're the only students that understand what the teachers discuss to this class. And now, he's discussing complicated math equations and this would take like forever. Ugh, I hope the bell will start ringing any second now. This is taking forever!
I faced outside the window and entered my dream land, but before I know it, the teacher caught my attention and made me answer his stupid math equations! I was completely lost and my mind is completely blank! I saw Ogawa writing something on a piece of paper. It was an equation, too. So, I didn't continue to bother her more. But then..
"Well, Suzuki? Aren't you gonna answer this equation?" He said seriously while he crossed his arms as he waited for me to answer, "You're wasting my time, y'know?" He harshly added.
After Ogawa was finished writing, she whispered to me aloud and showed me what she placed on the paper and it turns out that she was showing me the answer! I guess this day is not as bad as I think it would be.
"Err.. Five times x squared plus two fifths divided by one and a half and multiplied again with negative b squared." I answered.
"Hmm.. You answered it correctly, you can take your seat now, Suzuki."
"A-arigatou.."
I seated back at my chair again and sighed in relief. I whispered and thanked Ogawa for giving me right answer the teacher needed. She just responded me with a bright and warm smile in return.
I was just glad that Ogawa gave me the right answer. I mean, both of us are not that close yet and I never knew she'd be able to give me an answer. So, I think we'll be very good friends now.
After some time, the bell finally rang after a long morning of listening to the teacher's boring discussion. We stood up and thanked the teacher and waited a little for him to go out. Finally, we were free from the teacher. I went to Ogawa and thanked her properly and gave her my 90-degree bow. She giggled a little and patted my back then said it was nothing and went to her best friend, Mami. Well, yeah. It was nothing to her coz she's the smartest kid here and she has no problem with her school work. Oh, how lucky am I if I have a best friend like her? But then I remembered that I had to meet up with Haruna on the rooftop by now.
I quickly grabbed my bento and chopsticks and dashed myself onto the rooftop and searched for Haruna. I saw her sitting on the bench she sat when I saw her here before.
"Hey," I surprised her while I sat my butt beside hers.
"Ah, Rina!" she exclaimed and smiled at me.
This time, I had a koraku bento for lunch which Haruna also had.
"Oh! We have the same type of bento!"
"What? Oh! What a coincidence!"
Both of us then started chatting with each other while we eat our bentos. There were so much laughter between us that time and I never wanted the bell to ring again. But just a several minutes after we ate.. The bell rang again! What?! Why is time so fast?! No, I don't want to go to that classroom filled with jerks and idiots! I wanna be with Haru-chan! Ughh, guess I'll have to wait for dismissal then..
After a few hours of listening to the teacher's boring discussion, the bell rang once again making everyone rejoiced with joy. I started packing up, thanked the teacher and left my classroom then waited for Haruna by the gate. I finally saw her running towards me, waving. I waved back as well and walked her home.
I was back at my place already and went to my room. I jumped onto my bed and rested myself a bit and realized something..
I forgot to get Hauna's number!
I quickly went online to facebook to check if she was online, but I ran out of luck.. She wasn't online at all. I sighed and jumped to bed again.
