After months of spending good quality time with each other, they both became best of friends. It was already winter, just three days left for Christmas. Rina decided to invite Haruna at her place while her parents were out on a vacation together.
Rina thought of planning things with Haruna through their communicating devices. When she called, she could hear a ringing sound and hoped that Haruna would eventually pick up her call. When the ringing stopped, Rina was relieved to hear Haruna's voice on the phone.
"Ah, Rina!" Haruna said.
"Oh, hey, Haru-chan. Uhmm.." Rina got lost a little and suddenly forgot what she said, she kept stuttering and trying to remember what she was suppose to say.
"Err.. What is it?" Haruna asked and at the same time also wondering why Rina kept stuttering on the phone.
"Uhh.. I was wondering.. if you could come here.. During Christmas.." Rina said what she had just remembered at the moment. She hope Haruna would be free this Christmas.
"Oh, I'd love to! Can I bring Tomomi there? I'll come by there around 6pm." Haruna happily said.
And so, Rina received the answered she'd wanted to hear from Haruna. She sighed in relief and rejoiced her in mind. She was too happy for this, but she expected it to be just the two of them. If she wants to bring visitors, I don't care. Everything for Haruna.
"Oh, sure, sure. Thanks, Haru-chan." Rina agreed joyfully.
Both girls hung up on each other after Rina's last reply to Haruna. Rina was very excited to spend more time with Haruna this Christmas. Rina thought of buying her a gift, but what kind of gift does she want? It kept running around Rina's mind when she thought of that. She got exhausted over thinking stuff and gave up for a while. She laid down down her on her and stared at her ceiling for a very long time.
After sometime, something suddenly popped out of her mind all of a sudde . She thought of giving Haruna a teddy bear, a box of chocolates and maybe a Christmas greeting letter. She was getting excited and nervous at this at the same time. She jumped off her bed and quickly changed into her warm civilian clothing and head out, bringing her wallet with her.
I ran towards a mall nearby a manga shop. I quickly got inside and went to look for the perfect teddy bear. Too glad, it didn't take a lot of time for me to find the right teddy bear I was looking for. She quickly bought the stuffed toy and went to a nearby bookshop to look for some art materials. When she found everything that she needed, she placed the all the stuff she was going to buy on a basket and went to the counter to pay for the stuff.
When she finished, she went back to her place and decided to buy the box of chocolates before the actual day comes. She stuffed everything on her working table and started making her love letter to Haruna 'til midnight. She ended up sleeping on her working table after that.
It was morning again and I remembered sleeping on my working table. Only two days left for Christmas.. I gave my muscles a little stretching and wiped off the saliva that was coming out from my mouth.
I went to the kitchen and dug for food inside the fridge and got cereal and some milk. I took out a bowl and spoon inside the cabinet, placing them on the table and started combining the cereal and milk together in the bowl. I mixed them together and slowly ate it. After that, I placed my empty bowl on the sink and washed them, waiting for them to dry after that.
I went to back to my room to finish her simple letter to Haruna. She placed all her effort into that letter, making it a simple masterpiece. After hours and hours of making countless mistakes, she finally finished her letter to Haruna. She was too proud with her masterpiece. She gently placed the letter on the table and wiped off her sweat on her face after that then thought of taking a shower to cool herself.
