chapter 2

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my bedroom door. I assumed it was mom “come in” . I slowly said from waking up “sorry for waking you up hun but you have something in the mail” she said quietly, my mom was known for being polite and giving you your privacy. “Mail for me are you sure mom” I say sitting up rubbing my eyes, “I'm pretty sure it says it from the hero school.” she answers in soft but a little louder now that i'm sitting up awake “WHAT THE HERO SCHOOL ALREADY ANSWERED MY EXAM” i slightly yell from being surprised “hun please don’t yell in my home especially not in the morning” she says a little quiet “sorry mom i guess i just got a little surprised from it only being one day and they answered” i say lowering my voice, “thank you mom you can set it on my desk over there i'll look at it after i wake up fully and get dressed.” I said “ok but please tell me if you get into the hero school or not but either way I will still love you as my daughter.” After I finally got the energy to get out of bed and find some comfortable clothes and change into them in the bathroom I have in my room I walk out and sit at my desk looking at the neatly set letter on my desk from when my mom set it down. I was scared to open it to see if I got in or not. If I was completely honest with myself I didn't want to be accepted. I finally got the courage to open the letter and opened it. As I read it I saw that I got accepted at the top of the scoreboard. I slowly walked out of my room still spaced out that I got the highest score. My body hadn’t had breakfast yet so instead of going to mom I immediately went towards the kitchen. I hadn't even acknowledged my mom standing behind me waiting for me to tell her whether I got in or not. She gently tapped my shoulder and because i was in deep thought she made me jump and since she caught me off guard i thought it was my father and activated my flames but before i actually burned something i saw it was her i deactivated my quirk and apologized “omg im so sorry mom i didn't mean to i was just in deep thought i really am sorry i'll do anything to make it up just say it and i'll do it” i started to cry when my mom looked at me “oh darling you’re fine you didn't hurt me you stopped your quirk before it hurt me im so proud of you, so did you make it in” she said, as i stood there still crying at the fact that i almost hurt my mom. “You know what mom, I need to go on a small walk. I'll talk to you about it later, ok” I responded with a fake smile. “Oh sure, take all the time you need to make sure to bring your phone with you please.” she said as she smiled back “ i will mom '' i answered as i was leaving the kitchen. Heading up stairs I grabbed my phone off the charger and my headphones off my nightstand next to my bed. Since I was already dressed, as soon as I grabbed my stuff I jumped out my window. I didn’t like to walk in crowds so I would always take the back allies, also I took them so that way my dad wouldn’t find me when he was doing his hero work. I was doing my usual walking and listening to music when i felt someone watching me as i was walking i very swiftly took one earbud out of my ear and turned my music down a lot almost muting it so i can listen to who was following me, i then went to a abandoned building and went inside and sure enough the person who was behind me followed right after me, as soon as i was able to i turned around and looked at the person that was following me he was tall with raven black spiky hair and scars all over his body he had a long black-ish, blue cloak with a wite t-shirt and jeans under, his aurora basically screamed villain. With being able to do anything he very swiftly knocked me out. When I finally woke up I felt my surroundings. I was tied to a chair with rope around my wrists, torso, and ankles. ‘Like i can’t burn through the rope, wow these people are really dense’ i thought to myself but as soon as i did it someone walked in the room i was in ‘crap im dead now’ as soon as the unknown person came into the light i saw that it was the male that i led to the abandoned building before i blacked out. “You bastard who are you, what's your name, why did you bring me here, what do you want from me? '' All of these questions came flooding out of my mouth. I had to cover my mouth with my hand in order to stop myself from asking more questions. “First…” the male began to speak “...i'm in the league of villains, second my names dabi, third i was told to bring you here, and fourth I don’t want anything from you its my boss that wants something with you so come on follow me and you’ll find out soon enough why you were brought here” the male spoke so calmly it kind of scared me because my father never spoke to me that way. As i followed the tall male known as dabi he led me into a bar looking place in there was a girl with messed up buns on her head, a male with a mask, a mist looking guy behind the bar polishing a shot glass, and finally a male with baby blue hair and a freaking hand on his face and his neck was crusty and looked like it needed a lot of carmex on it. I was introduced to them and their names are toga, twice, koroguri, and shigaraki. “So i have a proclamation for you miss y/n'' the one with a hand on his face known as shigaraki said “oh really and what's that'' i replied in a sarcastic tone, he pointed at me and said “don’t get mouthy with me little girl” i looked at him and just stared coldly “or what crusty” I felt a big hand wrap around my neck and start to heat up “ or i'll burn you to a crisp” dabi said leaning closer to my ear, my face started to heat up from his hand and flusteredness, i think dabi noticed it because he stood right back up and loosened his grip just a little but not too much to were it was noticeable to the others. Shigaraki began to speak “Now back to what i was saying i have a pro-'' i cut him off “a proclamation i know can you just say it and not repeat yourself” i say “the proclamation is that you join the league of villains or we injure your family, you will be a spy for us at the hero school and tell us what they are planing, we will have your missions but instead of living at home you will live here under dabi’s watch.” As he finishes I could feel Dabi's grip tighten, as I gasp for air Dabi realizes what he's doing and lets go of my neck as I immediately drop to my knees and gasp for air over and over. “Well what are you waiting for dabi take her to your room and keep an eye on her.” as he finishes i feel dabi grab my wrist “i can get up and walk on my own y'know” he puts hands up like he has been caught by the police “whatever just follow me” his voice demands i quickly listen and follow as my head hangs looking at the floor, as soon as we exit the bar and the door closes behind us dabi quickly grabs my wrist and pulls me close to him “are you ok i’m sorry that i accidentally choked you i didn’t mean to but why did you take it in, instead of fighting back?” As that question hit my ears I just stayed quiet for a bit then I spoke up when I felt his eyes on me as we walked to a door that said dabi on it, “I was abused when I was younger so I kind of have no fight back built into my system.” I answered his question looking at the ground. Dabi tells me to get some rest because tomorrow i start to prove to the league as to what i can do.
