Chapter 1 Welcome

The first day of school
Argh! Damn it! I can't be late on the first day of school! I bolted towards the academy's hall. Damn these big annoying glasses. As I got closer, I can see people just beginning to enter the hall. I let out a loud sign of relief. I had stopped sprinting and started walking calmly towards the large crowd.

"Jin-Ae!" Chae-Eun yelled as she waved her hand elegantly at me.

"Hey Jin~" Chang-Suk and Dae-Joon simultaneously greeted as I got closer.

"Whoo! Made it just in time, let's go in," I said quietly as I pushed the others through the entrance. They all sat next to each other in the row furthest away from the stage. "This is going to be so boring," I whispered to Dae-Joon, who was sitting next to me.

"I know, right? Can't they just force the new students to go through this pain instead of the entire school?" Dae-Joon agreed. It seems like they're running late, there's no one on the stage yet. "Hey, Jin-Ae. You wanna play the penis game*?" Dae-Joon asked me with a smirk.

* The penis game is a competition between all of the players to see who can yell "Penis" out the loudest without getting into trouble by authorities, in this case, staff members.

"How typical of you to want to play that game right now. Now is not the appropriate time and place for those types of games," I scolded Dae-Joon.

"Hmph, fine then," Dae-Joon said in an aegyo manner, "I'll play with Chang-Suk, you meanie. Chang-Sukkie~~ you wanna play the penis game with me?"

"Of course," Chang-Suk replied in the same manner, "Let's begin halfway through the ceremony." Dae-Joon gave him a thumbs ups.

Oh dear, these two idiots are going to get caught this time, I just know it.

"I bet Chang-Suk will win. He's going to be the one that confuses everyone, making them think that they heard the word 'penis' but they dismiss it because that would be weird and Dae-Joon, being the idiot that he is, wants to beat Chang-Suk but instead, he's going to be the one that confirms that someone did say 'penis' and grabs everyone's attention which results in him losing. It's always like this," Chae-Eun explained.

"We all know," Dae-Joon answered back.

"Then, why do you do it? Besides it being amusing to you," Chae-Eun questioned.

"For the attention, duh. Aaaaannnnnddd, it makes things more interest. Besides, if I do get caught then I get to leave first," Dae-Joon responded. "Ugh, it's starting. Kill me now," he complained as the principal, Mrs Jeon, made her way to the the microphone beside the gigantic screen. The noise level in the room had dropped drastically.

"Welcome students to a new year at the Academy of Arts and Design," Mrs Jeon started, "This will be a new beginning for the youngest students, and a new chapter for students whom has attended the academy within recent years. The elite Academy of Arts and Design is home to many of the future's top artists and designers. This academy also focuses on the usual mandatory subjects such as: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, HPE, Korean, English and etc. Not only does this school have an amazing reputation in the Arts and Design, it is also know for academic results making it one of the best school internationally. Only the best of the best can make it into this prestigious academy." At this point, I've already zoned out. I look to my right and see the others already looking bored.

Blah blah blah, best school ever, blah blah blah, give it your all. Ugh, this is excruciating. I can't even TRY to focus. I've basically memorised the entire speech. 'There are expectations that must be met and there will be serious consequences if a school rule is breached.' When will this pain end? I don't want to admit it but, I think the penis game will be the highlight of my morning.

Hah, LEWL! I was right *mental high-five*

"Penis," Chang-Suk whispered followed by a taunting smirk sent in Dae-Joon's direction.

Oh dear lord, pleas help them.

"Penis," Dae-Joon whispered a bit louder.

"Penis," Chang-Suk said in a clear but low voice.

"Penis," Dae-Joon shot back in his normal voice.

*cough* "Penis." *cough* Chang-Suk said loud enough for the people a few rows in front to hear.

"Penis," Dae-Joon muttered louder.

"PE...NI....IS," Chang-Suk almost yelled.

DON'T DO IT! DON'T DO IT!

"PENIS!" Dae-Joon shouted, making everyone turn in his direction. He had on a yeah-I-just-did-that smirk. I could hear Chang-Suk trying to hold in his laughter and Chae-Eun mumbling something about idiots, I'm assuming she was referring to Dae-Joon and Chang-Suk.

"KIM DAE-JOON! COME THIS WAY!" Our year level co-ordinator commanded.

"Adios amigos," Dae-Joon waved as he walked towards the year co-ordinator.

"Excuse me everyone, can I please have your attention once again before the rude interruption," Mrs Jeon continued, " as I was saying before, there will be another k-pop group attending the academy. Last year it was Girls' Day, this year it will be BTS and GOT7!" She announced and everyone in the audience went crazy. I could hear fangirls screaming and fanboys cheering.

"OMG! BTS AND GOT7!! YYYYAAAAAAASSSSS!!!!! GOT7 AND BTS IS DA BAES!!!" Chae-Eun screamed along with everyone else.

This will be interesting, i mean, they're both pretty big and you would have to be living under a rock to not know who they were. Maybe I can ask they for advice or feedback, maybe something about their company. The principal tried to get everyone to settle down again before continuing with her long and boring speech. She finished by saying "Good Luck" luck to everyone and exited the stage. The students were ask to move carefully and slowly out of the hall and get to second period as soon as possible.

"Jinnie~" Chae-Eun called me towards her and Chang-Suk. She interlocked her left arm with my right arm and her right arm with Chang-Suk's left arm. "Let's go to music together without that idiot~"
