After Mal and Carlos got back together they told Ben if they can share a dorm together and he said yes and after they told Ben they all have fun at the party and they went back to their dorms and called a night.

Evie: I can't believe that Mal is packed up and going to move in with Carlos.

When Carlos and Mal were laying down Jay Came in to get his stuff go to his own dorm room.
Jay: sorry you guys I'm here to get my stuff.
Carlos: okay Jay but don't worry.
Jay: I won't I will always hang out here with you guys.

Mal: yeah.
Jay: alright you guys see you guys later.
Carlos and Mal: alright.
After Jay left to go to his own dorm room Mal and Carlos had a talk.
Carlos: Mal.
Mal: yeah.
