Chapter : The Arrival
Allison's P.O.V. :
I pulled off into the driveway of the hospital. Haze wanted to come with me but she's a bit sick now so she's at my place for a few days, the other guys & girls are all with her and Ty went to his home to bring some clothes because we're all gonna have sleepover at my place! Sounds awesome, yeah?
And as for me, I'm at Elina's cabin right now waiting for her to finish up with her new client.
I heard the sound of a door opening and I looked up to see the one & only beautiful Elina coming out with a wide grin on her face, wearing her white coat.
Oh! How I wish I'd be in the same position as her after some years. I admire her.
"Am I getting some stares from the beautiful Allison?" Her smile grew wide.
"Uh-no, y-no, umm.. yeah, well, you're so beautiful, I couldn't resist." I too smiled with her.
"Oh c'mon Alli, we all know who's the beautiful one here." She took off her coat and washed her hands.
The big diamond ring on her ring finger sparkled as the water came in contact with the engraved platinum material. It was magnificent! I was so happy for her and Dave and how they managed to continue their marriage with so much love and care.
I always wanted to have that type of life. The perfect life.
"Woah there, earth to Miss Taylor." She waved her hand in front of my face.
"Huh?" I was again lost in my dreamland.
"Sorry, what?" I was really confused and I'm pretty sure I made real fun of myself.
"Oh, my dear, what's happening to you?" She chuckled lightly.
"Nothing. I just, uhmm, well-thinking about your perfect life, about how everything is so perfect and good & everything seems like a fairytale-" She stopped me before I could say anything further.
"Come to a halt, Miss Taylor." She caressed my cheek.
She continued to speak.
"My life is not perfect, there are problems, ups & downs, but with the support of my husband, my friends and family, and special daughter that is you, I overcome the obstacles. Moreover, you know, I've got special talents." She continued and made gestures with her hand to portray herself as a magician.
I couldn't stop myself from laughing to the last part of it, plus Elina making funny moves!
Can you imagine it? You'll go crazy!
See, I told you, she's friendly, crazy woman for someone of her age. Seriously, she's wonderful!
She was right though. Anyways, back to reality.
"So, how's life?" She asked me with a glint of an expression in her eyes which I couldn't recognize.
"I'm good, Tyler's great, Haze is sick and others are pretty much sprawled out in my living room. Also, I've got a stalker." I said it all in one breath.
"Slow down, young lady. I think everything's going great. But tell me about this stalker, will you?" She was so excited to know, I could see it in her eyes.
"I don't know. All I know is he's a guy, he saw me at my birthday bash and is very obnoxious." I shrugged my shoulders.
"That's too much information about him considering the fact that your birthday was just yesterday."
She raised her eyebrows and started tickling me.
Did I mention that I'm super ticklish? No? Sadly, I am.
"OMG! P-p-lease s-s-s-st-o-p, ahh-s-s-s-stop, p-please!" I shrieked.
"You know anything else?" She asked while holding my hands.
"N-no I don't. Oh! I do! It's a private number." I laughed really hard.
"Duh!" She rolled her eyes.
"Anyways, why am I here on my day of leave, except the medical camp thingy?" I asked her with curiousity.
Not that I hated being here, but I had shopping plans with my friends. I thought I was supposed to come late but she called me again telling me to come immediately. I wanted to get new stuffs since I got my medical internship with none other than El.
"Oh! I totally forgot! You're here because..." She was teasing me. I knew it.
"Just say it already!" I was pacing back and forth and jumping.
"Because..." She gave away her evil smile.
I did nothing but glare at her with all my fake anger although inside I was burning with curiousity!
"Because you've been selected to become the doctor on call for the band One Direction!" She air quoted the One Direction part and clapped her hands.
"WHAT?!?!" I screamed.
