Hanging upside down by his legs, Dr.Venture had his arms crossed over his chest, a sour look on his face. Inside the Monarchs cocoon, Rusty had been captured and held prisoner here. Not very fearful and only annoyed, Rusty stared at the Monarch with a sigh,

"Can I go home now?"

"What? No!" The Monarch said irritably, "I have you now, Dr.Venture!"

The Monarch stood triumphantly and pointed in his direction menacingly,

"And I have someone that you hold very dear! Behold!"

Wearing a straight jacket, Kitty was dangled only a few feet away from Rusty and looking over at her he asked,

"What is that, a straight jacket?"

"Yes. She mauled a couple of our henchmen when we took her from her home, so we had to restrain her." The Monarch glanced over at her now and blowing a bit of her bangs from out of her face, Kitty replied,

"To be fair, I was being kidnapped. I can only assume the worst."

"You gouged out a man's eyeball!" The Monarch exclaimed, hands in the air, "Now Forty Seven has to wear an eyepatch. He's blind in one of his eyes now!"

A henchman that they could only assume to be forty seven, wearing an eyepatch waved at Kitty sheepishly and said shyly,

"Sorry I scared you. I'm a big fan of your show."

"Really? Why don't you let me down and I'll give you my autograph." Kitty told him sarcastically and as forty seven walked forward to help her down, the Monarch stopped him with his hand and gave him a warning glare.

"And now... you must face the ultimate punishment! Watch the woman you love die before your very eyes!"

"Well, love is a very strong word." Dr.Venture said almost embarrassed and Kitty looked over at him with bewilderment. "I mean... we aren't even dating. She's not my girlfriend. Is that the impression you were under?"

Kitty was silent now, watching Rusty as he said this. It was as if she were trying to figure out what sort of angle he was working from. Did he actually mean what he was saying or was he saying those things just to save her life? Honestly, it was hard for her to tell.

"Oh really...?" The Monarch hit a button which turned a slideshow on a large screen. The first picture was a photo of them on some sort of tropical beach,
"Trips to Bermuda,"
The second was Kitty in her swimsuit and sunglasses, sunbathing, "Laying poolside at the Venture Compound. I mean, look at this one! Look at the way she's staring at you in this picture!"

The Monarch flipped to the third photo. In this one, they were all walking together at the mall around Christmas time. Brock was watching the boys while they were messing with each other and to the side was Kitty, eyes watching Rusty fondly. Kitty looked down at the floor trying to hide her embarrassment while Rusty made excuses,

"The trip to Bermuda was for her birthday. She invited me, Brock and the boys to come along. I really think you're grasping for straws here."

The Monarch looked over at Kitty now and rolling her eyes she told him,

"First off, it's really creepy that you have all these photos. Secondly, he's right, he's not my boyfriend. I don't want to be tied down to anyone right now. And third, I was out late with my girlfriends last night and I have a massive hangover. That's part of the reason your pal forty two-"

"Forty seven." The eyepatched henchman corrected and looking at him for a moment she replied,

"-right, forty seven got his eyeball Kill Billed."

The Monarchs eyes were wide with surprise when he heard this and standing at this side, a woman Kitty could only describe as dark haired wearing a Jackie Kennedy outfit asked her,

"If you two aren't dating, why do you spend so much time together?"

Kitty stared at the ground again and huffed,

"Well if you really must know... Rusty and I have been seeing each other on and off for a few months now."

"Seeing each other? Doesn't that mean dating?" The Monarch asked confusedly and he and the woman stared up at Kitty expectantly, as if they were waiting for her to explain herself. Rolling her eyes, Kitty replied,

"Fadoodling? Playing patty cake? Parallel parking?"

"I don't see what driving has to do with-" The Monarch started to explain and exasperated Kitty finally exclaimed,

"We hook up, alright? That's all!"

"Oh, don't sound so flustered." Rusty looked over at her suggestively and smirked in her direction,

"You know you can't resist me."

"Ugh... fine, you can go!" The Monarch said disgustedly and lowering her down, Kitty's feet finally reached the floor. Forty seven walked up and gingerly undid the straight jacket that kept her arms restrained.

"Please leave, before I throw up."

Forty seven cautiously escorted Kitty to the exit and with his one working eye scanned Kitty. Smiling sheepishly he asked,

"Can I still get your autograph? I really didn't mean to frighten you, it's just a part of the job."
