Riker pov:

I heard the news.we are gonna die.everyone dies in the end.u may die when you are all old if you are lucky enough.but thing abt dying is that u know there is someone who will still hold ur memories.there WD be people to think of u,to remember u.but here,the trace of ur existence is completely wiped out.no one knows if u ever existed in this universe. I doubt the next new evolution will even know what r5 IS or perhaps WAS.

I walked out to find Vanessa already waiting for me.

"Morning sunshine"

"Hey rike!u really gotta improve the flirting game"

"Haha okay what abt u teach me?"

"I will if u come out"

"Why?nawww!I feel kinda lazy today"

"Oh really?" She made a puppy dog face and flung her arms around me.

"Okay I'm ready.let's go!"

"I knew it!works every time!" She laughed. We held hands and sang songs.

we walked to the park.it was easily her favorite place in the world .

she hurried excitedly ahead pointing and smiling at every new flower that bloomed,every little butterfly that flew by.

in her purple summer frock and beautifully braided hair she easily looked like a princess.

she sat near the pond,feeding bread crumbs to quacking ducks.
"I love u."I said under my breath.
"and I love u too"came back a soft reply.
