After we ate, me and Jimmy played hide and seek. I was the first to hide, I hid in a big old wooden log that was hollowed out and after a few minutes, it went silent. All the laughter and joy were gone.
I looked through a hole to see a long slender creature, eating something. I tried to calm down but my breathing was getting heavier and louder. I tried to roll around but a stick broke and it looked up and slowly walked towards the log.
Then someone shouted "Found you" it was Jimmy. When I looked around it was gone and everyone was laughing and having a great time but a little girl was sitting right where the monster was eating something. After that, I was looking for Jimmy because it was his go to hide.
I looked under benches, inside logs up on trees but I couldn't find him. I was looking in the forest, when I found a necklace with a key on it. I put it on and went back out. Later I found him hiding in a bush.
We went to a hotel because it was late, we had no fuel and we were all tired.
After we arrived at the hotel, we checked into a room and got ready for bed. I brushed my teeth and jumped onto the mattress and fell asleep trying to forget what I saw today.
