The Spot

Chapter 4: Lost

It was a rainy day, the day when Penelope went missing the people in the town try and help to find her everywhere but they saw nothing, it was the second day still nothing not untill the third day when two tourists happened to be camping near the falls and said they saw the body of a woman floating on the river they reported it on the police station and was taken action after the report the police immediately informed Penelope's mom about the new information they just got.

On the other hand Penelope's mom was panicking so anxious that that might be her lost daughter but Flynn's parents did their best to calm her down please i hope it was not my daughter the poor mother keep telling her mind, Flynn wanted to say something but was too scared he might say something that would make the poor woman's feeling worst they were all panicking if it's either other girl on the near falls or it was Penelope's body they decided to come with the police for the investigation and so they could confirm if it was her Flynn can't stop panicking too scared to think that might be the friend of him he can't sleep properly at night thinking where was Penelope blaming him self for breaking his promise he always wish that he could turn back time so he could not do that to his only bestfriend

Only if i didn't bring them to our spot this isn't gonna happen it was my fault why i bring my new friends on that place the memory in his head at that time was still fresh that it still haunts him at night. "Hey! Come on hurry up before she came!" Flynn shouted at the boys who was his new friends "can you slow down you're so fast and here's Jack too slow come on!" One of his friends said "Stop yappin Mark just walk or run so we won't get caught by her me sneaking you guys in our secret spot" Flynn reply seems in hurry "ahm i think this isn't right Flynn you said it was a Secret Spot right? Then why are you sneaking us in? Aren't you breaking the rules or something?" Jack not liking of what are they doing "tell that to Mark he keep bothers me to bring you guys here. just a minute and it's all fine but we still need to hurry come on chop! chop!" Flynn running in the middle of the forest he also don't like this idea but his new friend named Mark keep telling him and won't let him go until he show them the spot he was saying, he knew it's not right but he still did after a long time of running they finally arrived at the spot the boys stand in awe "this place looks fantastic!" Henry said talk for the first time in a while after being silent this whole time "yeah i know so now go take a short time to look around before Pen come here and caught us sneaking come on... And this is the first and last time get that?" Flynn said getting nervous they might get caught sneaking to their spot and was scared what would be her reaction if she found out he sneak three boys on their own secret spot.

A few minutes later...
Flynn keep telling his friends that they should go home before they get caught "hey! Guys i think we should go now" "We just got here and we're leaving too soon?" Jack complained Flynn did not stop and keep telling them to leave this place as soon as possible when he got interrupted when Henry spoke "ah guys... Guys!" "What Henry?" Flynn getting a little annoyed "look" Henry pointed his index finger to towards Flynn "what's with me?" "Not you behind you" "what?" Flynn turn to his back to see what he ment the annoyance feeling he have disappeared and immediately change by nervous he felt his body started to cold his face went red his hands are shaking the two boys who has been playing has notice their friends action and look at the direction where Henry and Flynn was looking "look- i-i can explain it wait-" he did not finish when Penelope drop the basket of food and start running back to the path she was on. Flynn look back to his friends and back to the way Penelope was running and start coming up to her "Pen wait!" He shout Penelope run faster than him, he knows it so he tried his best to catch up, his friends at the back was calling his name but he doesn't care sorry guys i have to apologise and explain everything to her first he thought he stop at the end of the road he was running and look around to search for her "Pen!, I'm sorry. please let's- let's talk" he keep searching around and his friends already cath up to him "Fin..." Mark said putting his hand on Flynn's shoulder "we're... so sorry... we should have listened to you" Jack says catching his breath "no, no it's my fault i shouldn't have brought you here. I have to find her" and he start walking on the direction he thinks she run

He starts jogging before finally running when his friends stop him "wait fin let's give her some time shall we" Henry suggest "no you don't understand it she- you... You should go home I'll find her" and start speeding up "come on bro it doesn't work like that" says Mark "no! You guys don't understand it Uugh!" He finally stop and put his hand on his head and bend his knee on the dirt "bro, I'm sorry" Mark apologise "just go home... You guys need to go it's getting dark" he said as he stand he doesn't look at them tears forming on his eyes "we should go guys" says Henry "just call us if you need something ok" then he pat Flynn's shoulder "we, gotta go, I'm sorry flynn" "it's okay Mark it's my fault not you guys. So now go home it's getting dark" and they separate their way to their home.

(This book is such a pretty mess since I can't think right right now because of school but yeah I'll try to finish it on the next chapter and also i have no time to edit this so i hope you still understand it babaye and take care everyone wherever you are:). )
