You and Piers met at work some years ago on a mission, you were in Bravo team and he was in Alpha team. At first you and Piers were fighting all the time, but then you dicided to meet him better.
2012
You were looking for Piers at the base and you couldn't find him, then you saw Finn <<Hello Finn do you know were Piers is? I can't find him>> he looked at you with a smile on his face <<He is at the cafeteria>>, you smiled at him <<Thank you very much Finn, see you later>>. You went at the cafeteria and you saw Piers sitting near to the window at the cafeteria, you sat beside him <<I really love rainy weather>> you said, he looked at you and he raised his eyebrow <<I'm not in the mood to fight you>>. You smiled and said <<I'm not here to fight, I'm tired of this. We're not kids anymore to fight for stupid reasons Piers. I want just to meet you better if you want>> you blushed. He looked at you and he smiled, it was the first time that you saw him smiling. He looks more handsome when he is happy, you were talking for a long time, but you had to stop cause you had to work. Some months later you started dating, everything was going well, also he gave you keys for his house. You went to stay to his house for a while and you fell in love with his puppy (or kitten) he has an German shepherd. <<Aww it's so cute. What's his name?>> Piers smiled at you and kissed you on the lips <<His name is Rex>>. A few days later both of you had to leave for mission and when you would both return, you had arranged to go on a week's holiday.
Some months later
It was Christmas your favourite holiday cause you really love to decorate the house. But this time you were alone because Piers were on a mission, but you called your best friend to stay with you to watch movies, to eat etc. When your friend came it started snowing, you lit the fireplace and made something hot to drink. Your friend was looking at you at how happy you were with Rex and then said <<Are you happy with Piers?>> You looked at him\her and said <<Yes I'm very happy with him, he is respectful, kind and he loves me>>. Your friend looked at your eyes and said <<I want to be honest with you [Y\N], I don't have a good feeling about your relationship with Piers. I'm telling you this because I care about you and I don't want you to get hurt again like the last time. Also, I don't want what I tell you to change your mind>> you smiled at him/her and hugged him/her <<I understand how you feel, also if i see Piers behaving strangely you will be the first person i will let you know. Also he is not toxic like the last one.>> Then you two went outside to play with Rex in the snow. Some days later Piers came from his mission you saw him for a couple of days, but now you had to leave for a mission.
2013
Some months passed and now it's May, you went to your parents for 1 week cause it's your mother's birthday and you wanted to surprise them. You wanted to take Piers with you, to meet your parents and spend some quality time together but he didn't want to come with you. You were a little bit sad but you thought that he wanted to relax at his home. Your parents was living away but all the way was worth it. When you arrived safely in the city you bought some of your mum's favourite flowers and your dad's favourite wine. When you went to your old house you rang the doorbell, you heard your mum behind the door <<Who is it?>> you laughed and said <<Your pizza arrived>>. Your mum opened the door immediately and she started crying, then you two went inside and you hugged also your dad. You gave them your gifts, you talked about all the news you had, also you told them how amazing your relationship with Piers is, then your parents was happy about you and they told you some funny stories when they were younger. The days passed quickly cause you had to go home, you didn't want to leave them cause you didn't know when you were gonna seen them again. Something that made you happy was that you will be back to Piers, to Rex and your best friend.
When you got back, you first went to Piers home to suprise him. You opened the door <<Babe I'm back>> you said happily, you went to living room and you saw a pair of underwear that it wasn't yours. After that you went upstairs to his room and Piers were with another woman in the bed. They saw you and they stopped what they were doing, you started crying and went downstairs to take your suitcase to leave. Piers was coming behind you <<Wait dear it's not what you think. I love you, it was just a mistake>> he wanted to hug you, you pushed him and you slapped him with all your might <<Don't you dare to come after me Piers. I don't want to hear anything from you again. Go to the b*tch that you were f*ck*ing upstairs. I hate you>> you turned to Rex side for one last time and then you left.
Some days later when you found the courage and strength to talk about what happened between you and Piers, you text your best friend to see if he/she can come to your house. After an hour he/she came and your friend saw you crying <<What happened my dear?>> you hugged him/her tight and said <<You were right about Piers, he cheated on me>>. He/she wiped your tears and said <<You don't have to cry for a person that you weren't his first choice on your relationship. I'm sure that in the future you will find a person that will truly love you.>> you looked at your friend <<I'm sure that I will another person that will care and love me, but what makes me sad the most is that i'm pregnant and i don't know what to do with it>> your friend was suprised he/she hugged you <<I will be beside you no matter what>>. You smiled at your friend and then she/he took you for a walk.
Around 2-3 months later
You quit your job cause you wanted to dedicate yourself to your pregnancy, your best friend and your parents helped as much as they could. In early July you dicided to go to Bsaa to find Piers. You found your captain and you smiled at her <<Hello captain, do you where Captain Redfield is?>> She hugged you and answered <<He is at his office, how is the little one?>> She pat your belly and you smiled <<Thank you, it's okay. I hope i can see you soon captain>>. You were going to Chris office and then you saw the door open <<Can i pass Captain?>> He looked at you and smiled sadly <<Yeah come on [Y/N]. Is everything okay? Do you want something?>> you were a little bit nervous asking about Piers but you did it <<I wanted to talk with Piers and I wanted to ask you, if you know were he is>> you saw that he remained silent and his eyes were kind of teary <<I'm sorry [Y/N], Piers died few days ago on the mission we were. He wanted to protect me>> when you heard the news you started crying and Chris came closer to you and hugged you.
We don't all get happy endings, but there's never anything we can do about it.
