TMNT vs X-Men ✅

Chapter 9

Sewers 4:15am

     After letting the others know about the incident at the Stockman Labs, the Turtles and the X-Men, excluding Nightcrawler, went searching for the device that fell into the drain, hoping that it would be somewhere nearby.

"How exactly are we gonna find this thing?" complained Raphael "It'll be like looking for a needle in a haystack."

"Yeah, Red's right. Besides that I'm gettin' tired of smellin' this place." said Wolverine.

"Shh." said Leonardo "Guys, Donnie is trying to focus."

"And I think we're closer to it than we... were." said Donnie, looking up from his machine to see none other than the Rat King holding the device in his claws "Oh no."

"Okay Rat King, hand over the device." commanded Leonardo.

"You're looking for this?" hissed the Rat King "It fell here in my domain. The only way you're getting it back is to take it from my cold... dead... hands."

"That could be arranged bub." growled Wolverine, extracting his claws and lunging at the Rat King, who dodged each of his slices and dices "Very good."

     The Rat King smiled a vicious smile, twirled around and knocked Wolverine in the jaw with his walking stick.

"Not good enough." laughed the Rat King, taking off into the sewers.

"Follow him!" shouted Leonardo, running in the direction the Rat King ran with the rest following behind.

     After chasing Rat King down for a solid minute the Turtles and the X-Men soon found themselves in a spiraling part of the sewers.

"Welcome to my lair." greeted the Rat King, standing on a railing above the heroes.

"Get down here." demanded Cyclops "Or I'll make you come down."

"I would love to see you try." laughed the Rat King before dodging three or four lasers from Cyclops' visor.

"Don't worry Scott, I'll deal with this." said Storm, summoning lightning and throwing at the Rat King, who dodged it just in time.

"He's quick." said Cyclops.

"Yeah, we know." said Mikey, before feeling a rumble underneath his feet "Uh... dudes, I think we've got an earthquake. Maybe we should stop, drop and roll."

"That's for fires you moron." said Raphael, just before the wall in front of them broke.

     Out from the hole stepped a familiar foe.

"Juggernaut." said Mikey, Raph and the X-Men in unison.

"Jinx, you guys owe me a soda." said Mikey.

"I got your soda right here ya little hockey puck." growled Juggernaut, running at Michelangelo, remembering what he did to him in Stockman Labs.

"How about ya leave my bro my little alone!" yelled Raphael, jumping on Juggernaut's head, and banging on his helmet.

"Get off me!" yelled Juggernaut, picking up Raphael and throwing him into Donatello.

"Raph! Donnie!" shouted Leo, before turning his gaze onto Juggernaut "I don't know who you think you are, but you messed with the wrong turtles."

"Ya don't know who I think I am?" laughed Juggernaut "I'll tell ya who I am. I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH!!!"

     With a strong punch, Juggernaut pounded his fists on the ground causing waves of debris to shoot up from the cracks in floor. The mutants jumped out of the way before being hit, but Juggernaut stopped his rampage when he noticed a rat crawling on his leg.

"Get the hell off!" yelled Juggernaut, trying to shake the rat off by stomping his foot into the ground as hard as he could.

     More and more rats poured in, all latching onto Juggernaut's body.

"Guys." started Leonardo "Remember, we want him to take the device."

     Remembering their goal Storm summoned more thunder, shooting lightning at the Rat King once again as he called in the rats with his flute. The Rat King, after being hit, fell to the ground, dropping the device on the floor. The rats, being scared of the rampaging Juggernaut ran out of lair as fast as they possibly could.

"Now..." said Juggernaut, picking up the device and turning towards the mutants "Where was I?"

     Juggernaut, still not finished trying to beat up our heroes approached Leonardo, ready to deal as much pain as possible. But before doing anything Juggernaut stopped in his tracks, turned around and walked away.

"That was weird." said Cyclops.

"Hrn..."

"Professor?" said Cyclops, turning to find Professor Xavier laying on the ground "Professor, how'd you get here?"

"I... I snuck out... I heard you... I knew you were in danger." panted Xavier, as Cyclops helped him off the ground.

     Once Xavier started feeling better, Raphael and Donatello also came to.

"Anyone get the license plate on that truck?" grunted Raphael, holding to his head.

"That's strange." said Xavier, seeing all four of the turtles "I must have hit my head pretty hard... I'm seeing giant turtles."

"We should get back to the lair." informed Donatello, getting on the other side of Xavier "I feel like now that they have what they want we'll finally find out what they're planning."

     And so the Turtles and the X-Men headed back to the Turtles' Lair, telling Xavier about everything that had happened while he's been out.
