EMPLOYEE SIGN: ERCU05AJW
WORK STATION: AJOURA
ASSIGNMENT: UNDERGO EVAL AND REPORT TO DUTY STATION
So, I guess this is where I put down my thoughts and stuff, huh?
Well, uh, my name is AJ Woods. I don't know if AJ stands for something, I don't know a lot of things. But, what I do know is that I'm in a place code-named the Roost. The Roost is a research facility belonging to the Center for Entity Containment, or the C.E.C for short.
The C.E.C wants to keep these things, known as "Entities," a secret from the world, for the greater good. That's the motto, actually. For the greater good. I'm not quite sure what it means, but hey, it's probably better than death, right?
I'm glad that the C.E.C has given me the opportunity to work here, I really am. They're even unbothered by my lack of...well everything. Of course, they're sending me down to eval, before I'm able to go to my assigned work station. Oh, that reminds me, the C.E.C actually assigns you different levels of security clearance, based on your assigned station. I was assigned to the Ajoura station, which is only assigned to members of the Entity Research and Containment division of the C.E.C. I'm specifically part of E.R.C.U-05 (Entity Research and Containment Unit 05), so my Employee Sign has 05 on it.
As I was saying, about the security clearance, is that it's based on your station. Level One Clearance goes to the lowest workers, who I think might be Janitors, I'm not sure. Level Two Clearance belongs to the Handlers, they're the ones who assist us in our research, but can't enter the Library. Scientists, like me, are given Level Three clearance, which simply means that the Library and Labs are open to us. Level Four is given to Security, so that they can keep us all safe and stuff, while Level 5 belongs to the Lore Police. Those guys make sure that everything outside of the C.E.C facilities are kept in order, as well as capturing new Entities for us to contain and study. Level Six is the only clearance not available by moving up (unless you're one of the most exceptional Lore Police members), and that belongs to the Managers. They're the ones in charge of the entire facility, and theirs is the only one transferable across all C.E.C buildings.
Update: Got my eval done, I'm free to go to Anjoura Station. The Manager wants us to research a Mid-Risk Entity, code-named The Last City. Here's to hoping everything goes well on my first day.
