PERSONALITY

james is extremely quiet. unless he's with his friends, he won't talk unless he absolutely has to. it's most likely because of his ptsd from when he got hurt during his time in the military, as he was very loud and outgoing prior to that event. he's gotten a little better, but will still mumble and stutter when talking to new people or his coworkers.

PASSIONS

james absolutely loves music, and he plays the drums. he doesn't have much time to play with his band, but he still occasionally plays by himself. james also likes art, and he sometimes will draw a tattoo for one of his friends. he designed erik and dean's matching wolf tattoos and kris' rose tattoos.

FAMILY + FRIENDS

james is still pretty close with his parents. they still live in america, where james was born and raised, and they helped him recover from his experience at the army and even paid for him to go to korea with his friends. they supported james when he stopped caring about school and enlisted, even though they didn't like it, and were really happy when james chose to go to medical school when he was honorably discharged from the army. he now has a daughter that he adopted. her name is yelena, and he also adopted a puppy for her named bucky.

APPEARANCE

james is unfortunately only 5'8". it was an advantage in the army since he could fit into small spaces. he's still quite muscular and occasionally works out when he's stressed. he usually wears sweaters and jeans, but has a few fancy suits to wear on dates or award ceremonies. when he used to perform at open mics with kris, dean, and erik, he'd wear ripped jeans and band shirts along with eyeliner, but he's very shy about wearing those clothes outside of performances. he has a few tattoos, but nothing too crazy. most of his left arm is covered in scars. when he was in the military someone in his squad accidentally set off an explosion and he injured his arm while pushing said squad member out of danger. it's mostly just cosmetic damage, as his arm still works perfectly fine. he's pretty insecure about it, and usually keeps it covered with a sleeve. if he doesn't move it for a while he won't be able to feel his hand for a few minutes, and if someone touches the wrong spot on his left shoulder he'll lose sensation in his entire arm until he moves it a certain way.
