Crona trudged through the dark city that surrounded the compound that housed Lunaeah - Eleesa Lovelace. Starving, Cold, and practically dying of thirst, he was determined to kill The witch and let Anaias live in peace.
"You for fucking real, Crona? They aren't gonna let you in just like that....besides I'm hungry, can I eat one of those villagers, they look great to eat." Said Ragnorok as he licked his lips.
"Ragnorok, I think they are already suspicious of us already. You wouldn't want to disturb the peace. Look at all these people, they're starving..." Said Crona as he turned his head towards a homeless family, a woman digging through some trash, and a man that stood on guard while his 2 kids ate some potatoes peels and banana peels. Poor souls. Straggling to eat trash for the rest of they're lives. They walked by the family, Crona holding his shoulder. 'Everyone lives for a cause' Anaias's message pounder in his head.
" Hey you, Mr. Tall guy, are you hungry? Here, have some bone marrow from the chicken that we've found." Said the man as he pushed a tray of chicken bones to words Crona's feet.
"No, No, I'm not hungry, you have a family to feed, thank you for your kindness, keep the food." Said Crona as he smiled.
"Thank you, good soul, you are the kindest of them all." He stuttered as he took the tray back and gave it to his kids, who snarled and wrestled as they ate, acting like animals.
"That's the visitors area of Lunaeah's Compound, you can visit on the inside, but you need to sneak past the sentry's post." Said Ragnorok.
"Sounds good, take cover in my back before she sees you..." Said Crona.
" Fine, you don't have to be an asshole about it." Said Ragnorok.
There was a tall curvy figure that walked out of the entryway to the compound, bat ears, bat wings, it's Lunaeah. And she was looking right at him, her bangs in her eyes giving her a hell of an intimidating look.
"Aah, Crona, your here! It's such a pleasant surprise to see you! Daybreak is come inside before the villagers turn cannibal." She smiled as she put a hand on Crona's back and led him into the compound.
'Cannibals?!' He thought.
He sat on a Gothic style bench seat and waited for her to come face to face with him to talk to him.
"What is it that you need, my boy? Anything at all. How is your mother doing?" She asked.
" She's dead." He said blandly.
"Oh, but honey you haven't answered my question yet, what is it that you need?" She said sternly, her voice sounding alot more intimidating than before.
"I need you to stop t -threatening Anaias... she's terrified and she doesn't like it." He stuttered nervously.
"Oh, but... you don't understand, Crona. I need to eat, just as a bird needs to fly or....or as a mouse needs to hide. And Anaias happens to be the perfect specimen to drink blood from, because if I do, not only will I be full forever, but I will also become forever immortal, do you understand?" Said Lunaeah.
"I-Im afraid I can't let you do that, I won't let anyone hurt Anaias." He said, his voice turning into a snarl, almost like an animal.
"Oooh, I see, Anailissah is your girlfriend.... why, if you don't let me eat her, than I'm going to have to eat you..." She said as a wide and pitiful grin set up on her face.
"Go ahead and try, Black blood tastes horrible." He said as he held out his arm.
"Ragnorok." He said as the blood sword came into his hand.
She unfurled her wings and from them, two led blades appeared at the claw.
"Let the flames begin."
"Quit your shitty talk already and fight me." Said Crona.
"Ooh, such a foul mouth for Medusa's child, I would have hoped to see you behaving in a much more appropriate demeanor." She said, her eyes changing color from orange to crimson.
~~~~~~~~
"Anaias, hold on!" Said Soul as he ran into the water to get the pregnant vixen that had been pulled under by an dragon oar fish.
Anaias snapped at the fish with hope that she might get loose from the fishes slippery grip. But with no luck, she held her breath and hoped hat the fish would let go.
Then she saw Soul,who tried to dive under the pressure. 'Wait...' she thought. 'I can shift back into a person... and break free from the fish, or I can nip at its spine, that's how my ancestors got loose....'
Option b, she was going to nip at the back of the long eel like creature and try and sever something. Soul got closer and closer, potraing him as a much larger, plentiful source of meat to the oarfish, so he left Anaias, as weak as she was and left to get Soul. Anaias couldn't hold her breath any longer, so she swam up to the surface for air and dove back down to get Soul, who was trying to put so much effort to rise to the surface, but the Oarfish was hard at work pulling him under, to drown him.
She latched her claws around its neck, digging her canines Into the fleshy portion of his vertebrae, All she had to do was find the right part of its neck, and all she had to do was jerk her head the right way, and it would be paralyzed.
Souls eyes were wide open, as he dug his fingernails in its face. The fish got aggrivated and bit from where he was bieng pulled down.
It bit his arm and he was bleeding profusely.
