Mk groaned once more and flopped onto his bed. Why was it so hard to confess his feelings to red son?? Oh yes, he had it bad for the demon kings son. He had hoped he had more time to plan out how he was going to confess, but before he knew it, Christmas was upon them. He could hear pigsy downstairs scolding Tang for doing something wrong with the decorations. He frowned but then got an idea. He scrambled out of bed, yelping when he tripped on his sheets." I'm okay!" He shouts before running down stairs where the decoration boxes were. He searched inside the box labeled kitchen decoration. He grinned as he pulled out the item he was looking for, his tail wagging behind him. He looked up at the shop, debating if he should put it up inside. He hums and grins again, getting a better idea. Now all he had to do was waiting until redson got here.

~few hours later~

Mk slouched at the table he was at, staring at his phone screen. Red had texted the group chat saying he would be there soon. He looks up at the clock and then back down to his phone. He bolts up and turns towards the door when the door chime ringed. He went to greet Red but sighs seeing it was Tang. He groans and slumps back down onto the seat. Tang looks at Mk confused and walks over to him." Mk? Are you doing okay?" Mk looks up at the scholar, then sighs." Not really. I'm hoping to surprise someone tonight but I'm really nervous he might say no." Tang sits down in the booth in front of him and smiles." This is about Red son isn't it?" Mk choked on his drink and stuttered looking everywhere but him." What? Pfft n-no?*sigh* yes, it's red son. I want to confess to him tonight but what if he says no? What if-!" He's cut off by tang placing his finger against his mouth. Tang chuckles and smiles at him." Believe me when I say this mk, that boy is head over heels for you." Pigsy, who was at the counter wiping it down scoffs." For sure, that boy always looks like a kicked puppy when he comes by asking for you when your put on deliveries." Mk blushes and looks at them." So... You think he might say yes then?" Tang smiles at him and nods." Well I mean there's a 50/50 chance but yes." He shrugs taking a sip out of his drink. Mk looks back down at his phone, then quickly typed something into the chat. He nervously waited for a reply, reading it when he got one and beamed." I'm off then, thanks dads!" He bolted from his seat and ran out of the shop. He ran down the sidewalk towards the park where he had asked red son to wait for him. He glanced up at the sky and smiles seeing it would soon be sunset. He gasps as he finally made it to the park, catching his breath by a bench. He stands up and walks into the park, looking for the familiar red head of said boy. He perks up seeing him and his tail wags. He then grins and decided to sneak up on him. He tiptoed towards him, his arms stretched out. Once he was close enough he jumped forward and hugged red from behind. He giggled hearing red gasp from the sudden weight." Noodle boy! Took you long enough." Red chuckles, looking at him with a grin. Mk smiles at him and rubs his neck." Yea... Sorry about that I ran here from pigsys so..." Red perks up and turns to him." You ran all the way from there to here? Don't you have a car?" He raises an eyebrow. Mk chuckles and shakes his head." Eh eh, no and pigsy wouldn't let me take the delivery car." Red sighs and smiles at him." Well your here now, so...wanna take a walk?" Mk smiles, his tail wagging was red stretched out a hand to him. He grins and takes his hand, looking at him." Gladly." He smiles as Red chuckles, and began walking. The two would make idle chit chat, sometimes making a joke here and there. Soon enough they came upon the big Tree in the park. They both settled down under the tree, with Mk leaning against red against the tree. Mk hums softly, secretly tying the mistletoe to his tail. He grins and holds it above their heads. He softly nudged red, who looked at him confused until he looked up to where mk was pointing to. Reds face flushed pink seeing the mistletoe. Before he could say anything though, he felt lips press against his cheek. He looks at mk with wide eyes as the other nervously looked at his hands." I uh, I had another reason for wanting to meet you here Red. I like you... A lot and you don't have to say yes but I-!" He was cut off from rambling as hands turned his head towards Red, and he found himself in a slightly heated kiss. Mks tail fluffed up and wagged as he returned the kiss, purring softly. Red smiles hearing him purr and he pulls away slightly, leaning his forehead against the others." I like you too noodleboy." Mk grinned and hugged the other. Red chuckles and smiles, his face still pinkish reddish. He gladly held the other against him, a soft purr coming from him. The two new lovers looked up at the sky as they watched the sky turn dark. Red looked over feeling mk slump more against him. He chuckles seeing the other had fallen asleep against him. He picks up the other bridal style and began walking towards pigsys. He smiles when he neared the shop, hearing pigsy and Tang. He sighs and braces himself before entering the shop and clearing his throat." Uh hello. Mk fell asleep so I uh brought him home." Red looked at the two as they stopped arguing and looked towards him. They both sighed in relief as Tang walked over.' We were wondering where you two were, mk wasn't answering his phone." He smiles at the two, crossing his arms with a smug smirk seeing their tails intertwined." But it seems as if we had nothing to worry about. Why don't you stay the night red? It's late and I'm sure mk would love waking up next to you tomorrow." He snickered as red flushed a reddish pink. Red grumbles a bit but nodded nonetheless and took mk up to his room. He chuckled when he entered his room." Messy as always hm?" He grinned down at the sleeping boy, making his way to his bed. Red gently laid mk down, taking off his shoes. He glances around the room and shrugged, taking his trenchcoat off and his shoes as well. He then climbed into bed and laid by mk, blushing when the other cuddled up to him. He purred softly and kisse Mks forehead." Good night...Mk." He whispered, before letting himself fall asleep a few moments later.

I tried with this one 😭 I hope it's the spicynoodles fluff you all were hoping to read. It's been years since I even wrote a small one shot like this. But dang I made it to 1200+ words?? 👀 aight then lol
