Chapter 14

It was already the morning and Jungkook had prepared a little breakfast while Jimin was still sleep but had eventually turned to a different position. Jungkook had a lot going on in his mind, the fact that they caught the 34 year old and for someone his age to arrange something like that had him enraged.

Jungkook then cleaned the little table before he served himself and Jimin, wiping the table with a damp rag reaching for all the edges. Stepping lightly and quietly he quickly set up the table with all the side dishes and a little porridge for them both. Lightly stepping over to Jimin, Jungkook reached for his hat and set it aside and whispered in his ear.

"Jimin.. jiminnn get up, it's time to eat."

Jimin wiggled a little than suddenly say huh yawning and fixing his hair, wiping his eyes exhaustedly.

"Jungkookk what is it? Is it time already." Jimin muttered

Jungkook then nodded and he helped Jimin get to the table. Jimin wasn't in for it since he was still tired, he brushed his fingers through his hair and sat back laying his head on the table.

"Jimin, when did you sleep?" Jungkook asked as he already started picking from the table and eating.

"Mh- I don't know.. I'm okay really, I got enough rest don't worry about it." Jimin said as he groaned a little.

"Thank you Jungkook, highly appreciated." Jimin said as he picked up some radish kimchi and ate it.

"That's a relief, we should head out soon, we never know when or where they could be." Jungkook stated.

"It's still a little early so we could get ourselves ready and prepared." Jimin said as he squinted and covered his mouth as he let out a little yawn,

"Mhm." Jungkook nodded and they both decided to finish their food.

The clanging of plates and munching of food was frequent but they enjoyed breakfast more ready for the day than ever.

"By the way Jimin," He than looked up as he was wiping his mouth with a napkin "I got a message from Mr. Kim Namjoon."

"Oh really what, was it about?" Jimin asked with curiosity.

"He told me that h they caught the dude that started this whole thing, they maybe even got the others too." Jungkook replied.

"There's still more out there.. so we'll just take em'? What if one of them decided to take over?" Jimin was filled with thoughts in his head.

"I mean I don't think it could be that possible, they're surrounded and they're probably still checking the place for anyone else involved."

"Therefore, we should be good."

Jimin nodded and drank the last little bit of water in his cup then got up to stretch still in the same clothes he had on since yesterday. The sun was beaming and the view was beautiful from where they were at. Jungkook than did the same and checked the map one more time then he heard Jimin talking on the phone.

"Oh okay, thanks your the best Jinn." Jimin said in a playful voice.

Jungkook walked back in as he saw Jimin fold his blanket and sit back down on the couch.

"Oh Jungkookkk, Jin is dropping off my equipment and outfit for today so I don't have to drive back. Ahh, he saves me a lot of gas nowadays." Jimin said as he smiled and turned on the TV.

"Oh that must be great, well Jimin if you need anything just call me, I'm going to shower in a sec."

Jimin replied with a loud okay to the point where Jungkook could hear him from his room. Jungkook could hear the news talking about the case and how many people they found, it was about 27 of them involved. Most of them were hiding in the shadows. Jimin was stretching his arms and neck trying to warm up knowing that this might just be going well.

Jimin and Jungkook finishing packing the extra stuff and they got to the zone earlier that expected. Jungkook places down the equipment on the ground setting it up almost exactly as on the map while Jimin was checking his surrounding and staying connected with Jung Hoseok with the drone.

The air around them was cold and livid, Jimin feels only but a bit of pressure on himself, Jungkook is making sure everything is as it goes. The area around then was a concrete field with walls in different corners and some with towers that they can creep on to their enemies from.

"Jimin, I think we are good here, is everything ready?" Jungkook asked as he fixed up his hair and walked over to the corner.

"Yeah we're all clear, Jung Hoseok will track them and see who is in the area in a second."

Jimin then stood in a ready position diagonal from Jungkook hiding behind a was speaking softly.

Jungkook was sitting behind the wall a little lengthy from Jimin so he hoped that he wouldn't get hurt.

Later on Jung Hoseok then sends a signal of about 5-6 gang members there, Jungkook stood firm and Jimin was ready as he took deep breaths. The steps of the boots on the concrete can be heard getting closer and closer to Jungkook. Jungkook then takes a deep breath and takes out his pistol and fires 4 shots at the guy, the other two are alarmed and start to hear many more footprints, Jimin then throws out the grenade, covering his heads while he hears the multiple shots going around the area.

The grenade goes off and sends a ring to their ears Jungkook then has trouble getting up and moves positions while Jimin contacts Jung Hoseok.

Jungkook then shoots the line with his bullet from his recent set up letting it go off wiping out two of the men while the other guy was already on the ground.

There were only two guys left and one of them were at the tower and the other one hiding beside the tower where they weren't visible to the eye.

"Hoseok, Hoseok, are you there?" Jimin whispered.

All Jimin would hear was the breaking up and the murmuring of the radio. Jimin then gave up and quickly switched positions as they were already firing at random spots.

Jungkook then took a risk and spoken aloud, Jimin was shook at Jungkook's attempt.

"Look we already have your little leader, you can either give it up or die." Jungkook stood at his position probably thinking that Jimin is worried and concerned

"They'll kill us anyways.. why not just kill you!" The guy said.

Jimin then took out his cross bow and saw a little arm peaking by the wall and shot it, the guy immediately knocked out as Jungkook ran for it hearing the shots of the guy angrily go off.

Jungkook then saw Jimin shift over right below the guy at the tower and he busted open a firecracker sending off a warning for the others to come quickly, The. guy at the tower than looked down pointing the gun down there but not seeming anybody, wondering what's going on.
