"Y/N is not from Korea, he had already left the country for his own home last night. He seemed fine to me last night," said Yena.
The girls were left speechless from what Yena had just said. They hugged Yena, trying to console her. Yena remembered what Y/N had said to her last night.
"I hate you Y/N. You left without saying a word. I will remember this," Yena thought.
As for Y/N, he went straight to see his great grandmother who had been moved to the coffin. The funeral process had begun as he ran to his great grandmother's body and cried.
"I'm sorry great grandma. I wasn't here next to you before you died. I promise that I will get married in the future and show you my future wife one day," said Y/N as he started to cry.
His mother approached him and hugged him, telling Y/N that his great grandmother had passed away peacefully. Y/N went out to take a seat as relatives and friends attended the wake to give their last respect. One of the relatives, Wong Kahei (Vivi), came and paid her respects. She saw Y/N sitting alone as she went over to him and hugged him. Ka Hei noticed that Y/N was feeling emotional but did not say a word.
"Don't be sad. Great grandma likes you the most. She likes your smile the most," said Ka Hei.
"I know.... But she just left us like this...." Said Y/N.
Y/N was about to start crying when his teammates had arrived to pay their respects. Y/N went to greet them and once they paid their respects, he brought them to a table to speak to them. As for Ka Hei, she reminded Y/N that he should stay strong which he understood. Y/N then spoke to his teammates as they asked how he was doing. Y/N explained that his trip to Korea was cut short but was fun, nonetheless.
As for Yena, she became moodier then ever after Y/N's sudden departure. Any guys who tried to ask her out, she would ignore them. Her friends would try their best to cheer Yena up but to no avail.
For the next five years, things paned out differently for both Yena and Y/N. For Yena, she graduated from high school along with her three friends in 2018. Yena chose not to go study in university and started to work a full time job. Jung Eun and Ji woo joined Jaden Jeong's project and became members of Loona in 2018. As for Y/N, he left Manchester United in 2017 and joined Real Madrid. He eventually retired from football in 2020 due to a concussion he suffered near the end of the 2019/2020 season. Y/N also became a shareholder to Blockberry Creative (BBC) which managed the girl group Loona. After Y/N retired, he planned to stay in Korea permanently.
The date was 19th November 2020. Y/N had moved to Korea after telling his family about his plans. Y/N had to stay in a hotel before he could find a new home to move in. He headed straight to the hotel after arriving in Korea. After he checked in, he decided to go out to walk around.
Yena had just finished her lunch and went back to work. Her mood was ok even though her workload was heavy. As she did her work, she received a text message from Hyewon who asked her if she could meet for dinner.
