Sorry for being late on releasing the book! I had problems, and planned the date wrong, but now, it's here!
CURLY'S POV
I was going to feint. I couldn't believe this. It was the second time i'd seen him die. This sucked. I heard Sue softly crying behind me. I turned towards Misery. She actually looked scared for a second. I pulled out my Machine Gun, and raised it. "This ends now, Misery." I pulled the trigger, but she wasn't there anymore. I couldn't believe she just cowered! "Oh my-" Sue cut me off. "Let's go." she said. I still was shocked. Quote's death was real this time. I actually saw small pieces of metal everywhere. I suddenly felt queasy. I lowered my head as I slow-walked my way out of the lab.
QUOTE'S POV
"Where am I?" I said, as I looked around. I couldn't even see the silhouette of the man anymore. "You're on an island, about an hour long boat ride from the coast, if you're fast enough. "Why am I- HOW am I here?" I said. I actually felt myself dying. How could I be here? "Simple, really. You're a robot, so I can actually control your senses from the computer." A light turned on to the left of me, shining on a large super-computer. My eyes widened. "By the way, how did you talk? You were deployed to the island before I could add the voice module to you." I didn't know either. "How do you know I don't have one? Maybe before I was deployed, the, commander, or whoever added one?" I asked. "Nah, that's not it. You were sent too quickly." I turned towards him. He smiled, and flipped a switch on a wall I could just make out next to him. Everything got bright.
SUE'S POV
All of my fur was standing on end. I felt the tension in the room. Curly looked mad, surprised, and depressed all at the same time. was trying not to cry, but failed. I could barely manage to keep it quiet. A gazillion thoughts ran through my head. Was this another illusion? Did it really happen? Was Quote really... dead? I walked up to Curly. "Come on. Let's go... somewhere." She didn't move. I put my paw/hand on her shoulder. She looked at me. The look on her face almost made me feel, guilty. For interrupting her from mourning. She sighed, and then began to cry. She slowly walked out of the room with me.
QUOTE'S POV
I took in the amazing sights. Everywhere I looked, there were other robots, in cases on the walls. "Wow" Is all I could say. My builder turned towards me. "This is where you were assembled." He gestured towards a corner, where metal sheets and wires and computer chips were neatly organized in buckets. I gasped. Two of the robot models in the cases, were... me and Curly. I froze, mouth gaping. "By the way, uh, my name is... Barry. He pulled out a remote, and hit a blue button on it. I could suddenly move. I tested out all my joints. All of them were in perfect working order.
CURLY'S POV
I half walked, half hobbled out of the lab. I looked around at all the birds and trees and... I couldn't enjoy it. I could just think about Quote. I did wonder why he suddenly started talking though. That didn't make sense to me. I thought he didn't have a voice module built in to him.
SUE'S POV
I shivered. It was starting to rain. I looked up, and saw it was getting dark. "Hey, Curly. We should find Balrog and get to shelter. She just nodded. I was getting worried for her. We found Balrog. "Let's go!" I yelled to him. He walked over, and we climbed on. We flew off in silence.
