I hate when I think of writing a chapter a lot of words will immediately come rushing inside my head but when I actually start to make the chapter my mind just suddenly goes blank ://

seventeen.

FELIX

Felix couldn't focus, he would constantly bite his lips, clicking the black pen on his hand repeatedly, and the cause of this was no one other than her, Kiera.

After, what Felix thought, a night they both shared by following their hearts; he thought what happened would make a huge difference in their relationship, an improvement of their relationship.

Felix only felt curiosity towards her at first but it slowly started to turn into interest, like, and eventually reaches to a point where he started feeling things that he had never once felt before. Felix isn't dumb when it comes to these things, although he hasn't felt it himself he wasn't also completely clueless about it.

He's in love with her.

Love can always happen in mysterious ways and with her always being with him, he's gotten used to her presence that he doesn't know what he'll do if one day she'll just suddenly dissapear with the wind and will never come back for him again.

With Kiera giving him consent, he thought it was a green light she was sending him. That she felt the same way for him, but Felix was now left into anxiety and confusion when there were no slight changes in Kiera's approach to him — in fact, it became much worse.

Did I mess up? Did I do something that wasn't to her liking? Was I a bad partner to have sex with!?

A knock cut his thoughts off and he looked up to see Ren with a document in his hand and his other free hand who's knocking at the already opened door. He looked annoyed. "Something wrong?" Ren asked.

"No." Felix replied, composing himself and pretending that he was just finishing some things in his paperworks. Ren walked closer to his desk and Felix could feel his gaze on him which made him knit his eyebrows and look back up at him. "Is there something wrong?" He asked the same question to Ren.

"Let's be real here, Felix. Have you
already fallen in love with her?" Ren asked again. Felix pretended to have no clue about what he's saying but as expected it didn't work on his assistant, "You do know she tried to kill you the first time you both met, right? Her whole purpose, her mission, was to kill you and didn't come here to — I don't know — become your wife?"

"My wife, huh? That's a great idea"

"It's not!" Ren suddenly slammed his desk, making Felix raised an eyebrow at him. Felix sighed and rubbed his temples, creating small circles to ease his headache he's feeling because of Ren.

"First of all, why are you getting so worked up for? It doesn't really concern you who I fall in love with, may it be someone from a rival family, an ordinary woman, or even my own prisoner. Second, why are you talking to me as if you didn't stab me in the back by reporting what I'm doing to my biological mother?" Felix glared at Ren while Ren retreated his clenched fists on his desk.

"Well... that woman isn't someone who you should fall in love with! She was sent to kill you and there's no gaurantee that she will not. What if you'll lower your guard just because you've fallen in love with her and then she'll take this to her advantage and kill you? Do you even think she loves you—"

"Enough." Felix's icy stone cold voice made the voice coming out from Ren's throat to stop as he gulped. Felix stood up and went the door, stopping when he was about an inch away from the door, "Leave those documents here then leave because from now on, you're fired." Felix says, walking out and slamming the door behind him with full force.

"Do you even think she loves you?" those words echoed through his ears, as if it's replaying it to make it as a reminder to him. He grumbled in annoyance and ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

He didn't even get to ask Ren how he knows that he had fallen in love with Kiera.

He sighs, I want to see her but does she want to see me?, he stopped in front of the door of her room, but hesitated to go inside.

"Yeah, I shouldn't." He says, his heart feeling heavy as he left the warmth of being in front of the room, knowing that she's inside.

LUNA

I had been trying to do my best to never show the slightest bit of interest in Felix. What happened shouldn't happen again, considering the fact that he already has two kids from a woman which looks like he cherishes her. But, honestly, it was hard.

I never knew loving someone is this complicated or was I only making it complicated by consenting him to do that with me?

I knew what the main goal was that I came here; to kill him. Then things started to go south and what's worse is that I had caught feelings for a man I was told to kill.

Is this what they call Stockholm syndrome? Even I surprise myself.

"Wow, love knows no boundaries." I start to talk to myself. Maybe being stuck again in this room and avoiding Felix, the only person I can converse to in this mansion, had made me go cuckoo.

I stood up, going to one of the drawers in the room where I put the picture. Due to the old age of the picture it's hard to distinguish the face of the person but in the picture there's two people; the man my mother told me to find and a little boy beside the man.

Compared to the man in the picture, the little boy's face can be distinguished by refining the picture a little bit. I squinted my eyes, focusing on the little boy to somehow familiarize his face.

He looks... familiar.

I sighed, I can't get anywhere by just being familiar with a face of a kid. I also can't help but to ask who the kid was in the picture, was he the man's kid? If the man turns out to be my biological father then does that mean the kid beside him is my brother?

Where is he now?

The day Luna got captured by Felix

Han Jisung, known as Detective Han, is currently checking the crime where yet another murder has taken place. This was the 9th murder that occured as of this month and people had been growing scared every day.

"Detective Han! We found something!" His co-worker calls, running to him with a ziplock in his arm with a badge in it. He gave it to Han as he scanned it.

"This badge..." The badge was almost a myth, something that the police have heard of but hadn't actually seen it. They already have their speculations about the rumored badges but they didn't have any solid evidence to continue on with the case, but with this. It's their checkmate.

Han smiled to himself, "Keep this very precious item safe. They have finally met their doom" he says.

"Uh, another one is that when the police got here they caught the murderer walking out in the front gate and chased after them. They have also speculations that they were the same exact person who did the other killings these past few months."

"Do we have a lead?" Han asked. Still, holding the ziplock of evidence, observing the badge inside of it.

"Well, this..." He handed Han another piece of evidence

An earpiece.

A/N:
THIS WAS SHORT AF but I wanted to update so :')) Oh, and again, I am not, and won't be, studying law so what I'm writing here will not be accurate to real life work. I also don't know how the law in Italy works nor do I have the time to study about it so bear with me 😭
