"Alright, this is the last time that I'll be seeing you guys before graduation," Andrea announced as the final bell of the school year rang. At least for her students.

"Y'all be safe and come dressed to impress. Show everyone that the class of 22' is the best to do it,"

"But Mrs. Monroe, we gon have gowns on," One of her students stated.

"And? Never let 'em' catch you slippin. Haven't I taught y'all anything?"

"I guess," he laughed along with some of the other students as they started shuffling out.

"I'm giving out some serious words to live by. You'll thank me one day."

After all of her students left, she sat at her desk as multiple feelings consumed her.

Happiness. Relief, and guilt.

The first two were based on her students and the last one was because of her husband. She decided that today would be the day that she came clean.

She just knew it wasn't going to end well. Today was a half day, so she was happy that she'd be able to make it to the championship parade.

That's right, the guys won it. It was the fourth for some, the first for other, and well...you know the rest.

She hoped that telling Gabe before the parade would go smoothly since they were both excited about the events planned throughout the day.

She just hoped that the conversation went as easily as it did the million times she replayed it in her head.

Making her way home, she changed into a Warriors crop top along with a cute mini skirt. She, Ayesha, and Sydel all had custom sets made for them. Andrea wore her brother's number of course.

Nervously going into their shared bathroom, Gabriel eyed her as he shaved in front of their mirror.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Hmm?" she questioned.

"I know you. You're avoiding eye contact which means you're trying to avoid telling me something,"

Her heart rate instantly sped up as she began to panic.

"Your haircut looks nice,"

"Thank you, I like your outfit, it's cute,"

"Thank you,"

"Mhm. So what is it?"

"I kissed Jordan. I don't even wanna blame it on alcohol cause I wasn't even that drunk. But we've also flirted with each other a lot since it happened. And like, he's very persistent, and I just really don't know what to do," she rambled.

"How long ago did this happen?" he calmly asked as he wiped his face with a wet towel.

"The kiss was the night we made up. Emotions were high and all over the place. And the flirting is just... every time we're around each other,"

"Good to know," he nodded while cleaning up all of his shaving supplies.

Andrea expected this reaction from him because was a very calm and nonchalant man. But, she didn't expect him to be this quiet.

'You're not gonna say anything?"

"Nah,"

"Okay. Do you wanna talk about it, or do you need time to think?"
