I open my eyes lazily and groan. Ugh! My head is killing me. I lift myself from my comfortable chair, pull my bag to my shoulder, grab my second big brown leather bag from the case and exit the airplane. With my suitcases and bags in the baggage trolley, I look for Samantha. She's my cousin, my favorite cousin in fact, she's like a sister to me. She's living in the United States and I'm supposed to be living with her in L.A until I find my own place. So, she got to be here somewhere.

I giggle when I see her standing at the wrong gate. Jeez! She's like a zombie. I bet she's still sleeping there. I approach her slowly with a wicked grin.

"SAMANTHA!" I yell before exploding in laughter when she jumps from her spot.

"Shit! Catherine!" she curses and turns around. Woah! Her face is pale, her blond hair is in all directions and she has dark circles under her eyes. Well, that is a hell of a hangover!

"Well, it's so nice to see you too, Samantha" I hug her tightly. I've missed her so much!

"Oh it's so nice to see you again! God, I've missed you"

We walk out from the airport and jump into her white BMW sporty car.

"You went out yesterday to a night club and you got yourself high and drunk, didn't you?" I glare at her. I can tell that she's nervous, she always taps her fingers when she is, and now she's doing it on the wheel. She looks at me and opens her mouth to say something but she closes it again. I raise my eyebrows at her.

"Kind of" she shrugs.

"God, Samantha! You have a college to attend, you have a life. You can't go on like this, partying every night is so unhealthy" She needs a break.

"I know that but it's not what you think. It's something else" she blushes to red crimson. oh no, for sure it's something about a certain male, again.

"What! Tell me! Tell me everything!" I widen my eyes at her.

"His name is Chris and it's nothing serious. He's my age and he's rich, so rich. I met him last week in the after show party" she murmurs keeping her eyes on the road. Wow! She seems really into this guy. She really changed, she never cared before but now it seems that she does. Wait? After show party? What show?

"What are you talking about? What show?" I frown.

"Yeah, shit... umm,... yeah I didn't have the chance to tell you yet"

"You didn't tell me what?" I press. What is going on here?

"I'm a Victoria secret's model now. I quieted college" she looks at me, waiting for my reaction but I'm blocked. "Well I'm an official model, I'm a beginner ,so..."

Are you fucking kidding me?!

"What?! Is this a joke? Are serious?"

"Yeah" she shrugs. What? Oh my god! She really did change. What was she thinking?! Oh my god! I can't believe it.

"Why? Why did you quite? Does anyone know about this?" I glare at her.

"Because I didn't fit in there, it's not my thing. I really love what I am doing now. And no one knows this, okay? You have to promise that you will never tell anyone."

"Okay I won't. You know I'll support you Samantha but I don't want you to regret this."

She smiles. "Thank you Cathy, don't worry about me, I know what's best for me" I grab her hand and squeeze gently.

Well, if that will make her happy then I'll support her of curse. She's my sister, one of my best friends, how couldn't I?

We pull outside a small but very beautiful house. It's on the coast. The sea looks amazing and breath-taking. I open my passenger door and stalk outside.
