I can't believe we both got in! I'm so excited to share these moments with my best friend.
On the train ride to the academy we fell asleep, talked, and of course I got to read a little while. One thing you'll find out about me if you don't already know me I'm a huuuuge book nerd, or so I'm told.
We finally get to our stop and I'm internally freaking out. Maverick won't let me get any of our bags as he carries them to the cab. The only thing I'm carrying is forest' carrier.
On the drive to Academy Wonder-wall, Mav pulls me to his side and puts his arm around me, and I'm not gonna try to lie it makes me blush. I'm not gonna try to be one of those girls that's so 'naive' to have a crush on her best friend.
I'll admit that I have a crush on Mav. Will I ever tell him probably not, am I gonna make a move not likely.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to the Academy. As we stop and get out I have the biggest smile on my face so excited to get my dorm and meet my new roommate.
I smile up at Maverick his expression immediately changes as his stoic expression is replaced by a small smile on his face.
We get to the office. I go to one counter and Maverick goes to the other.
"Hi my name is Kaelyn Verity, I'm here for my dorm information and key."
"Oh yes! Here is your dorm number and key!" She says positively.
"Thank you!" I say appreciatively.
I start my way to my dorm deciding I'll meet up with Mav tomorrow after we both settle in.
I get to my dorm room at the same time Maverick opens the door to my dorm room.
Confused I walk in and question him about why he's in my dorm room.
"Why are you in my dorm room, Mav?" I asked him
"Uh this is my dorm room, Tate?" He say confused. Using my middle name I knew he was telling the truth.
"Oh it must have been a mistake..." I say.
"Yeah probably, let's go see what we can do."
We set our stuff down and head back to the office. We go back to the lady who gave me my dorm information since the other lady was busy.
"Hi, we have a question." I say politely.
"Oh hi again! What can I help you two with?" She beams up at us.
