You work at a coffee shop, This one guy comes into your coffee shop every morning so he likes a regular customer there. He chats with you sometimes but never mentioned his name until You meet him at school...
It was finally prom day. You were quite excited, the days went by quick. It was after school you were waiting for everyone else to come out. You were out early and then a certain woman yelled your name.
"Hey (y/n)!" Nami called "Hm? Yes Nami?" "Since prom day is tonight~ how about I help you with your outfit" you hesitated "I think I can handle this myself Nami" Nami grins "Nope! Don't worry (y/n) I got you! C'mon before prom starts tonight" Nami grabbed your hand "Ah! Wait Nami!"
Nami had dragged you to the mall. You huffed "Nami I-" Nami covers your mouth and made a evil grin "no worrys (y/n)" you gulped "yes ma'am"
"Alright lets find a perfect outfit for you (y/n)!" You sigh "okay Nami"
You were about half an hour at the mall with Nami. Nami hasn't found anything that looks perfect on you. "Nami-" "shush (y/n), Im looking for a suitable dress for you" "I- but Nami-" Nami bonk you on the head. "Y-Yes ma'am I'll wait" "thank you"
You both had been walking to many stores, until finally luck had your back. When you were in this one store something had caught your eyes. It was in the display. It was shimmering, elegant, beautiful.
Nami had a liking to it and it suits you. You brought it with the money your father had put in your card.
"Ace will definitely like this" Nami smirks It made you blush when Nami said that. Nami notice your cheeks are tinted red. "How cute, you guys should definitely date!" Nami said. "how funny Nami, not like it's gonna happen" "oh watch me it is gonna happen". You laughed it off "ok ok, We should head home. We wouldn't want anyone to worry, text the others in the gc" "I did that already (y/n) no need to worry. But you should head home, your father must be worried"
"Oh right I should! uh thanks Nami, be safe!" You grab your bag. "Bye (y/n) see you tonight!" "Bye Nami and yes see you tonight!"
You left the mall, heading towards home. The mall wasn't that far from your house thankfully. Prom starts by 8 pm. You were luckily in time being home before 8 pm. It was 6 pm now
"Phew! Im home" You shouted "Oh (y/n) your finally home what did you do?" Crocodile asked "Father i went shopping and found a really nice dress to wear for prom" you smiled happily "Who is your partner again?" "Its Ace. Luffy's older brother" "Ok, I see. Well have fun sweetie" Crocodile pats your head.
"I should get ready now father" you said to him, "i'll wait for you here, I want to see you with your dress". You nodded and went to your room and got changed into the beautiful gown. You look in your mirror "woah, this really looks good on me" you grin. Your phone vibrated, it was a text from Ace that he's coming to pick you up.
Ace is gonna pick me up?! Im not ready to see him soon! You thought
You replied back with "I'll see you then". It made you squeal. You went back out to see your father. Your father stared at you. "My beautiful princess is so beautiful" He hugged you. You giggled "father" you hug him back. You saw Ace at the door waiting. "Father Ace is outside" you point out. Crocodile noticed it and kissed you on your forehead. "Have fun sweetie! Don't get hungover, be besides Law and your friends!" "Yes yes I know father don't worry" you smiled
Crocodile was worried for you, as you are his daughter. He will care for you. Law came out the door. You look at Law "wow Law you look very stylish!" You compliment Law "thanks (y/n) you look nice as well" "awww thank you Law"
You both walked out the door. Ace deeply stares at you. "Ace?" no response from Ace. You wave your hand at him. Ace came back to reality "huh? Oh sorry (y/n)! You look amazing" Ace blushes. It made you giggle "thank you Ace, you look amazing too" "Well thank you mi'lady" "you are such a gentleman"
Ace laughed "I am if I want to, well ladies first hop in the car" Ace opens the door for you. "Thank you again Ace" Ace smiles. You saw Luffy in a nice suit. "Luffy! You look amazing" "(y/n)! You are very gorgeous" you both giggle. . . . You guys arrived to the school. You saw the others standing outside. They all look amazing in formal outfits. Everyone had greeted eachother and went inside the school and started partying. Prom ends 10 Pm. So like 2 hours
You were with Ace drinking a bottle of wine while everyone is partying, dancing, etc. "This is very epic" "sure is (y/n)". It started to get silent and awkward. "so uh lets join the others and dance" "alright, lead the way mi'lady" whenever Ace's says that. It warms your heart.
You and Ace started slow dancing to the music. You both were beautifully romantically dancing. Everyone had stared at you guys and seeing how beautiful it was. "Everyone is staring at up" Ace smiles softly "I know, its pretty weird right?" "Maybe you're just really gorgeous right now, I can't keep my eyes off of you (y/n)" you blushed "you are acting real cute" Ace teases you. "S-Shut up" Ace giggled
"(y/n) I have a important question to ask" "go on" Ace gulped "I've been inlove with you since we first met in the coffee shop, your smile warms my heart, I love how you work hard making coffee, you looked very beautiful like that, I kept coming everyday just to see,hear, and talk to you. I was very surprised to hear you were my brother friend, It was luck to go to school and see you. You had made me fallen so deeply inlove. Do you accept (y/n)?"
It literally made you shocked to hear all that. Your heart was beating quite faster. You felt like you mean something to him. You were happy to hear all those words from his mouth. "I accept Ace" Ace smiles warmly. "Well then mi'lady how about we dance a few more mins" you giggle "sure!"
Everyone had heard what happened since they were all quite focused on you and Ace but most of the girls who were fangirling on Ace were jealous. You didn't mind it, since you were in a good mood.
You and Ace danced firmly and elegantly. "Where did you learn all this?" You asked Ace "I been practicing" he grins. You smiled
After dancing for so long, you both went to get drinks. "At last! Today is so fun" you smiled "yeah it is" Ace smiled.
You both drank, prom was very fun to experience it with someone. You had fun dancing with Ace to every romantic songs that comes up. Ace was very sweet which had made you fell for him harder.
It was half-way done with prom. You stared at Ace's lips for some reason. They looked really soft and a bit glossy. You thought about kiss him.
Ace laugh, when Ace laugh it made you freak out a bit. "Why are you laughing Ace?" "you are staring at my lips for awhile" you blushed "uh a-am I?!" "It's okay (y/n), say the word if you want it" Ace smirks. "I-I Shut up! And no" "alright alright" . . . It was all becoming to an end. You and Ace had gone to your house. Once Ace stops at your house, Ace started introducing himself as your boyfriend. Your father was shocked and had a private chat with you about it. You were telling how amazing and great Ace is and he accepted that you and Ace are now lovers.
