Before we got to his house he drove around Forks for a few hours learning all the streets and back roads while playing music and enjoying the peace.
When we pulled up to Theodore's house we sat outside for a while, "is anybody home?"
"No Esme went out of town last night and she should be here tonight, Carlisle is at work, and everyone else is out hunting."
"Does anyone know I'm here?"
"Esme and Carlisle know I texted them on our way here and they are alright with it but the rest of them don't Alice most likely will get a vision once she gets close enough to the house and Edward gets home before anyone else so we're going to be alone with him for about 10-20 minutes...will you be okay with that?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
"If you're uncomfortable in the slightest you'll let me know right? Erica said she would be up for a few more hours and you could call her."
"Yeah, I will let you know."
We sat in silence for five more minutes.
"I'm not mad at you for defending yourself from my dad he's done this before he even treats the people that work for him like shit and I heard how he was disrespecting you outside but I couldn't hear the full conversation I'm glad you stood up for yourself because if you didn't he would've made it his lives mission to piss you off until you left me alone."
"I'm never going to leave you alone."
Even after what I said I knew it still didn't make him feel better about what happened, "come on let's go inside."
He held my hand and he walked me through his whole house giving me a tour then we got to the stairs, "Don't tell me these are what I think they are. Did Carlisle and Esme have y'all go to school this many times?"
"This is my second and final time going to high school and I'm not going back to college for the seventh time I have enough money to be comfortable for the rest of my immortal life."
"What did you major in?"
"Everyone else chose medical degrees but I chose Aeronautics, Economics Accounting, and Criminal Justice. I have two PhDs and I have my law degree."
"What would you do when the others kept going back to school?"
"I would travel with my brother and his girlfriend and other times I stayed at their house when they were on vacation but in reality, I was just running from my problems."
"Why were you running?"
"Because I didn't have you back then but I have you now."
He took me to his room and it was a normal-sized room but when I turned my head I saw he had a huge balcony. I opened the doors to walk on the balcony and I had the perfect view of the skyline.
"This is the reason why I have the smallest room but I get to watch the sunset and sunrise, and I get the perfect view of the stars."
"If this room is considered small I want to see what everyone else's looks like."
We walked back into his room he closed the doors and lay down on his bed together
"There's something I want to tell you."
He looked down at me, "tell me."
"I like I do and I don't know how you feel but I feel like we're going somewhere. I want to explore where this could go and maybe a relationship is in our cards."
