Once I got my phone and my purse out of his car I was about to walk into the house when a voice stopped me, "Do my parents know you're here?"
"Yeah they do...is there anything else you want to ask me?"
I turned around to face him, "if he wasn't in the picture would you fight for my attention with your friend Bella as you did with him?"
"I don't mean to sound cocky but I don't have to fight for nobody's attention whether someone else was in the picture or not. Between Theodore and me we just let it happen naturally we didn't force it or plan on letting someone irrelevant come in between it. I didn't ask my 'friends' questions about him and his family or watch his family like something was wrong with me, I know how to mind my business when I need to and when to insert myself when I need to."
"You still didn't answer my question."
I rolled my eyes, "You have many questions about me that I don't plan on answering any time soon but I'll give you a question. What makes you think that I would fight for your attention if Theodore weren't in the picture? Make no offense but you don't know me like you think you do reading people's minds isn't helping you either so I guess that's why you're questioning me?"
He nodded his head.
"When you talk to me use your voice to answer part of your question if Theo wasn't in the picture you wouldn't even think twice about her if you had the opportunity to choose and she's not my friend, far from it."
"What are you?"
"I'm just a human whose mind you just can't read."
He nodded, "What about the flowers I sent? Did you like those too?"
"You must've got your source from the wrong person roses are not my favorite."
I walked back into the house and back upstairs into Theodore's room and closed the door, "that little stunt you pulled was cute...I'll admit it."
I got on the bed and got on top of him.
"Stop it I just wanted his attention."
"Why would you want anyone else's when you have mine?"
"Stop being jealous I got my answers to my questions and you heard us the whole time it was no funny business."
I looked down at my phone and Jamie had texted me.

Dad left and went to the reservation and so did Josish to try to calm him down so it's just me and you because mom had to go to work because she left something
Okay I'm omw back
"My dad is gone can you take me back home?"
"Yeah come on before the rest of them get here and they won't let you go home."
We put our shoes back on with our jackets and I turned the TV off, "wait do you want to stay the night?"
"No, I want you to spend time with your family while they are here. How long are they going to be here for anyway?"
"They leave tomorrow"
"I'll stay the weekend."

After Theodore dropped me off at home, Jamie, my mom, and I spent the rest of the day playing Uno and Monopoly.
