Zane's Mansion

Adela
When I came downstairs Zane and Olivia were already at the table having breakfast.

Adela : Morning..
Zane : Morning!
Adela : -sits-
Olivia : So why are you here?
Zane : That's not your concern.
Olivia : Oh is it a secret?
Adela : Yes actually! I like keeping my life private.
Olivia : Whatever I don't really care anything to do with you.
Zane : I'm going to tell you this once. If you want to stay in this house you will respect both Emma and Adela. Am I clear?!
Olivia : Sure
Zane : Now quiet so we can eat in peace.
Olivia : So are you two a thing?
Zane : No
Olivia : Does that mean we still have a chance?
Zane : Don't confuse things. If I have you here it's because I'm not a bad person. It doesn't change my opinion about you.
Olivia : ....

-phone ring-

Adela : Oh it's Emma.

-phone call-

Adela : Hello?
Emma : Hey! It's Emma!
Adela : Oh hey!
Emma : Come over? We can have some breakfast and go shopping or something.
Adela : Yeah for sure! I'll be there in a bit.
Emma : See you! -ends call -
Zane : Where are you going?
Adela : With Emma
Zane : I'll drive you.
Adela : Oh- yeah okay thanks!
Olivia : Your breakfast?
Zane : it's fine I'm not that hungry.

Zane grabbed his keys and walked out with my following behind him.
We got into his black truck and started driving.

Zane : I'm sorry about her..
Adela : No worries..
Zane : You're probably wondering why she's here.
Adela : Don't worry you don't owe me explanations Zane.
Zane : But I want you to know. Olivia is my ex. We were engaged. I found out she cheated on me a few weeks before the wedding so I called it off. Her father passed away a few months ago leaving everything to her. She didn't know how to manage her wealth. That led her to lose everything. She came to me for help. I'll only be helping her until she gets a job and moves out. But trust me, there's absolutely nothing going on between us.
Adela : I'm sorry that happened.
Zane : It happened almost two years ago. I'm completely over it.

Bruno's Warehouse

Martin : He's dead.
Bruno : Fuck..
Marin : You killed him with your bare hands..
Bruno : Oh well he had it deserved. Get some men to clean this shit up.
Martin : Hers's his phone.
Bruno : Great! I'll check everything in it and wait until he gets a call from Adela. I'm sure they've communicated.

Adela's Parents House

Neighbor : I saw Martin take Juan away by force. Who knows what they've done to him by now...
Maria : Oh no...Bruno!
Andres : He was our form of communication with Adela..
Neighbor : I'll help you in any way I can.
Andres : No don't bother. I don't want to risk you either.
Maria : How are we going to know about Adela now?
Andrea : I'm not sure but we'll find a way..

Emma's apartment

Zane
I walked Adela all the way to Emma's apartment door. I'm not to risk her at all. Anything can happen in a split second.

Adela : I'll be fine. Don't worry Zane. I really appreciate it.
Zane : As soon as you want to go, call me. Don't go outside. I'll come pick you up here.
Adela : You're more protective than my dad.
Zane : I just care about you Adela..
Adela : Aww Zane..
Emma : -opens door- I knew I heard voices.
Adela : Hi Emma!
Zane : I'm gonna go to the restaurant to check on things. Stay safe girls.
Emma : We will!
Adela : Thanks Zane..
Zane : Don't mention it.

Adela
Zane left once I was inside the apartment with Emma.
I sat on the couch and Emma sat right across from me.

Emma : Water? Coffee?
Adela : Water is fine.
Emma : Okay! -gets up- So tell me how's it going with the new roommate?
Adela : She's just as you told me.
Emma : Ugh that bitch will never change.
Adela : I would come live with you but you know how Zane is.
Emma : Yeah he's very protective of those he cares about.
Adela : We've only known each other a few days.
Emma : Enough to make him care about you. Girly I love you already! You're just so easy to get along with.
Adela : Hehe thanks! And I love you too Em.

Adela
After we talked for a bit we went out for breakfast. Then, we went to the mall for a few hours.

I asked Emma to drive me back to Zane's. I didn't want to bother him so I just told her and she did.

Adela : Thanks!
Emma : Yeah of course! If you ever need to go somewhere just give me a call and drive you.
Adela : Thanks Em!
Emma : Night!

Adela
Emma left once I was inside the house. When I walked in Zane came and hugged me as soon as he saw me. I smiled and hugged him back.

Adela : Nice to see you too!
Zane : I was worried!!
Adela : Why?
Zane : What do you mean why?! It's late and I didn't get a single text or call from you! I thought something might've happened!
Adela : Well as you can see I'm perfectly fine.
Zane : Call next time yeah? And I told you I'd go pick you up.
Adela : We were close by so Emma dropped me off.
Zane : Just please! Call me next time alright? Adela I- ....you don't know the panic I felt when the hours passed by and I didn't hear from you. You were really starting to worry me..
Adela : Aww Zane you're sweet. I don't know what I did for you to care so much about me in such short time but thank you. Thank you for the protection.
Zane : You don't have to thank me. And it's easy. It's so easy to ca-
Olivia : Oh you're back! And I thought you'd stay over at Emma's considering it's late-
Zane : Don't start Olivia.
Olivia : Weren't you just yelling at her for that exact reason?
Zane : No
Olivia : Well I heard yelling.
Alan : Hello everyone- Olivia? You're the person I least expected to see here.
Olivia : Hey! I live here now.
Zane : Until she gets a job and rents or buys an apartment.
Olivia : Zaney..
Alan : Charity work?
Zane : Yes
Olivia : How dare you!!
Alan : Zane and Adela I need to talk to you both.
Zane : Alright let's go Into the office.
Olivia : Oh secrets!

O F F I C E

Zane : Well?
Alan : It's about Adela. I hired a prepared Russian guard. He'll be your personal bodyguard and chauffeur. I've assigned him a car which he'll use to drive you wherever you please.
Zane : That's not necessary. I can drive her.
Alan : Maybe but can you fight?
Zane : Yes
Alan : -laugh- Don't get jealous now. Her bodyguard arrives first thing tomorrow morning.
Zane : ....
Adela : Thank you Alan. You didn't have to.
Alan : Anything for my friend's daughter.
Adela : I'm gonna go to bed. I'm tired. Goodnight guys!
Alan and Zane : Night!

Adela
I took a quick shower and changed into my pjs to head to bed.
Once I was tucked in I called Juan to check on how everything has been going.

Adela : Hello? Juan?
Bruno : Why hello there Mi amor. (My love)
Adela : ......
