I am back after a long time and decided to continue the Steamy Night OS and make it a SS. This is the second part. Enjoy!
Bela is happily getting ready in her room. Her friends (Kavya and Preeti) get surprised to know she actually slept with some stranger in the pub they took her to.
Bela: Before anyone hears, just shut up and don't raise this topic. I can't take any more risk.
Kavya: Of course we know that. But I still can't believe that you let a stranger take your virginity the day before your marriage to Yuvraj.
Bela: I know. It excites me as well. You know? Yuvraj is a very nice and decent guy. But I would have loved it if he had this dirty side of him and tried to get close to me romantically...
Preeti: Maybe he will reveal his dirty side after marriage.
Bela: I just hope so.
They hear someone knocking on the door and so, Bela hides in washroom as she is half dressed. She hears the girls talking to someone and that person leaves. The girls then call her back inside the room.
Bela: Who was it?
Preeti: Your brother-in-law.
Bela: My jiju? Vikrant jiju?
Kavya: No. He is your husband's elder brother.
Bela: Oh. What was he saying?
Preeti: He gave these jewellery and told you to wear them if you wish to.
Bela opens the hoxes and finds them very beautiful. She picks out the long necklace which perfectly matches with her lehenga and chooses to wear it. She soon completes getting dressed up and then the baraat arrives. Bela is called upon stage. They both complete the marriage rituals and sit for reception.
Yuvraj: You are looking very beautiful.
Bela: Thank you.
Yuvraj: I hope you didn't feel bad when Bhai gave you those jewellery to wear. These are of my mother's and she gave him to give you.
Bela: No. Its fine. I loved these. Where is your brother? I didn't meet him yet. I was in washroom, changing when he came to give these.
Yuvraj: You didn't meet my bhai yet? Let me call bhai.
He dials his brother's number and calls him to the stage who agrees. As soon as he reaches near the stage, Bela gets shocked seeing the person. Its the same guy who slept with her the previous night... Mahir. She now realises that during their marriage rituals, her in laws took his name quite a few times and she should have remembered that before agreeing to sleep with him. Mahir extends his hand towards Bela and says, ' Hi Bela. Remember me?'
Bela widens her eyes in shock realising he is talking about previous day meeting.
Yuvraj: You guys know each other?
Mahir: Of course we do. We met yesterday.
Yuvraj: What? Bela you went out of home yesterday and didn't tell me about it?
Bela: Actually... I...
Mahir: Oh no. I forgot. I should have shut my mouth.
Yuvraj: What happened bro?
Mahir: We met in a jewellery store yesterday. She was searching for some gift for you there and I helped her find it.
Yuvraj smiles happily and turns towards Bela. Bela looks absolutely confused about it and looks at Yuvraj thinking of a way to explain.
Yuvraj: You bought a gift for me? That's so sweet Bela. Thank you. Where is the gift?
Mahir: Come on Yuvi. She will obviously give you that in your private moment tonight. Not now... Understand this simple logic.
Bela awkwardly smiles and nods in yes while Yuvraj is extremely happy that his sweet wife took effort for him. After a while, Bela excuses herself saying she needs to go to washroom and takes her friends with her. As soon as she enters her room she sits on the bed holding her head.
Kavya: What's wrong?
Bela: I am stuck in a problem. Actually I...
They hear a knock on the room door and see Mahir standing.
Mahir: Can I talk to my sweet sister in law alone?
The girls look at Bela who nod in ok and so the girls leave. Mahir enters the room and locks it from inside. He extends a small packet towards Bela and says, " Here is the gift from you to your darling husband. "
Bela: What? Why did you do this? What was the need of telling him that we met yesterday? You know that if the reality comes out then...
Mahir: Ssshhh... Relax ... Calm down.
Bela: That's the last thing I wanna do now.
Mahir: If I try to calm you in my ways then you will be in trouble.
Bela rolls his eyes off and remains silent.
Mahir: Good. Now listen why I did this. First of all, we are humans and we can accidentally reveal that we met a day before your marriage anytime in our life so we should be prepared to answer that.
Bela: But how come you got the gift ready and... Wait a minute... You knew that you were sleeping with your brother's to-be wife... Didn't you?
Mahir: Honestly, yes! I loved every second of being with you and I don't even regret it even if I knew that you are Yuvraj's fiancee. Because you are so beautiful. Any guy will die for you and I got the chance. If I hadn't been on a foreign tour and missed all your pre wedding rituals, will I ever get the golden chance of being with such a beauty? No! So I used my chance and then prepared every perfect excuse to set things right in front of everyone.
Bela looks at him a bit convinced.
Mahir: See, we have our whole life to discuss about this but right now, we need to leave from here and you should get back to the stage before anyone gets any doubt. And trust me, I will never open my mouth regarding this.
Bela slowly walks towards Mahir and then smashes her lips on his, shocking him. After a small kiss, she breaks apart and says, " I would be lying if I said I didn't think about you since yesterday night. Can't wait to get more such experiences! 😉 "
Bela winks at him, forwards a tissue to him to clean the lipstick stains and then sets her makeup again. She goes back to the stage and sits with Yuvraj.
Yuvraj: What took you so long?
Bela: I wanted to check if I kept your gift inside my bag. I am happy that its there.
Yuvraj: I am so excited for tonight.
Bela (with a smirk): I am excited for spending all my life with you in our house.
