Today was a glorious day for the people of Obelia as the crown prince Anastacius just got crowned Emperor of Obelia today. People are cheering and wishing the new emperor a happy reign.
At the banquet hall where the newly crowned Emperor Anastacius is seated at the throne in the center.
A lady enters the room beautiful red hair and black eyes greeted him. Lady Marina Ashtarte of the Marquis Ashtarte family entered and all eyes were on her. She walked her heels clanking on the floor as she reached Anastacius she bowed.
"Blessings and glory upon the new sun of Obelia. I am Lady Marina Ashtarte it is an honor to meet his majesty." She curtsied and flashed the emperor a charming smile.
"The honor would be mine lady" He too flashed her an even more charming smile that ladies nearby can't help but swoon.
Soon the dance started and everyone was curious on who would be the new emperor's first dance.
The emperor stood up and walk towards LADY ASHTARTE some ladies couldn't help but be jealous but there are some like Lady Penelope Judith who can't help but sneer at the sight of the emperor dancing with someone it was supposed to be her.
"M'lady may i have this dance?" The emperor bowed
Lady Ashtarte really not expecting this curtsied "It would be my pleasure your majesty" and smiled
They were led to the dance floor and soon all eyes were on them. Everyone can't help but be enchanted by the couple it was as if they were made for eachother. As the dance ended the emperor kissed the back of Lady Ashtarte's hands and whispered something in her ear that made her blush beet red that some nobles were already whispering about it.
It has now been a few months since the emperor Anastacius's coronation the Lady Ashtarte has been going in and out of the main palace ever since the banquet. Were she is often spotted having tea with his majesty or having walks in the royal garden.
Today would be one of those days although the Lady Ashtarte was nervous because the emperor had something important to tell her.
As she arrived at the garden she spotted the emperor but today he looked different. He looked much more handsome than any other day and he looked as if he was nervous.
She greeted Anastacius and the said man smiled at the presence of the lady.
"Marina Ashtarte of House Ashtarte, will you marry me? And give me the honor of becoming your one and only husband?."
The emperor for the first time kneeled in front of someone, the lady he loves.
"your majesty! Please get up it is improper for a man of such High status to kneel infront of a lady like me" Marina stuttered scared of what people would say if they saw this scene.
"That does not matter only your answer does"
"Well your majesty, it would be my honor to marry you" Marina smiled.
Anastacius grabbed her by the waist and kissed her.
