what's up homies! guess who finally decided to crawl out the depths of hell! c'est moi,,, i am literally sososososososososo sorry how long it has taken me to write this

here is a recap. you don't have to read it, its more for me and my fish brain lol:

Tina and Andi went to thank Emma for saving their asses in maths but basically it was a lil awkward cos they're socially awkward wrecks

also i just read the last chapter so i could remember what happened and write this recap... and i dunno wtf i was writing!? im so sorry guyss

"Oh my god i haven't had spaghetti hoops in aggess."

"Same, I can't believe it's been so long. I actually love them so much it's kinda a problem. I feel like I'd propose with one if she'd let me"

"Wait, don't forget your earrings Andi, you know how Mrs Dodger gets!"

A couple days had passed and Tina and Andi were just pulling on their football boots for P.E.. Andi was actually pretty good at football whereas Tina... well it wasn't her favourite.

"Uurrghh" groaned Tina, "I hate football so much!"

"Yeh I know you've said that 20 billion times already and that's just today," Andi chuckled.

"Well it's true. It might even be worse than pythagoras."

Andi gave an exaggerated gasp of mock shock as she finished tying her laces.

"Come on, it won't be that bad."

Tina scoffed.

Andi actually felt quite excited about playing today but it wasn't as much about the football as she cared to admit. When she found out earlier that they were gonna be with Emma's class today she got a strange feeling in her stomach - a fluttering that excited her but also made her nervous. She had pushed it down. It was nothing.

Andi held out her hand to pull Tina up and they set off for the pitch.

A light drizzle had begun to patter down, causing the grass to glisten and pools of mud to start forming under the boots of the girls as Mrs Dodger blew the whistle. There was no hope of them getting let off P.E. though; Andi knew Dodger wouldn't even cancel sports for a thunderstorm, recalling the time she and Tina played hockey as lightning struck in the distance. Literal lightning. As the cold set in she felt grateful that they were both on the same team for once, seeing as they were all playing the other class. The pair mostly jogged around the pitch during games, feeling too nervous to actually go for the ball themselves, and it was nice to do it together.

Just then, the ball was intercepted by a lanky girl on the opposite side who started dribbling towards the goal. Someone called to Andi to tackle and she started making her way towards her opponent, eyes on the black and white sphere as it drew nearer. It was ok, she told herself, she was a decent player she just needed to build up the courage to commit to the tackle. As she sped up she saw the player pass to someone else, a ginger with freckles sprinkled across her face... okay, I guess I'm tackling Emma now, no biggy, why would it be? I mean... oh my god brain shut up I'm trying to focus here!

Andi felt her heart racing with her pounding feet as she sped up the pitch towards the ball. Closer, faster, closer, faster until she thought her heart might actually beat out her chest.

THUMP! There was a tangle of limbs as Andi cracked open her eyes with a moan and then immediately slammed them shut. Slowly, she peaked out of her eyelids. Emma was right over her face, hands planted either side.

"Oi watch it Shark Girl," she chirped with that tinkling laugh, her face crinkling up into a smile. She pushed herself up and held a hand out to Andi who took it, feeling her face go very hot despite the chill of the rains. She wasn't sure how much of that was from the running.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry this is so embarrassing ahh please you gotta I'm so sorry", Andi stammered, her words sliding into each other and wishing very much now to be suddenly zapped away by aliens.

"Don't worry about it, lovely," Emma grinned. Andi felt a fuzzy feeling rise in her chest but was interrupted by the boom of Dodger's voice echoing across the pitch, telling them it was time to go back and get changed.

"Catch ya later then," said Emma before jogging off to the other changing rooms, kicking up mud as she went. Andi gave a feeble wave, feeling her insides slightly melt and then went off to find Tina.

just as a disclaimer, like so many things i know nothing about, i don't really know the rules of football all too well so i hope the match was somewhat realistic

also, about the picture thing (i dunno what its called,,, the chapter cover?), as you might guess there isn't a whole bunch of just dance avatar girlfriend gifs and i have exhausted most of them so i opted for this cos i love you the doctor and this whole story is basically Andi and Tina being not the best at talking to other people
