When I was younger I didn't think about my future the way I do now,
Back then I always assumed that by now I would have it all figured out,
But now I realize I have to plan out my next steps and future years,
Because I want my future to be brighter than it appears,
I want amazing things and to be excellent at what I do,
I don't want to look up and realize I don't have a clue,
I try to do my best to understand that the moves I make now, impact my future,
When time comes to pass I want my mistakes to be fewer,
So I try to plan and plot all of the moves I make next,
So that my future self gets my pasts best!
