Angelica Kim is the only girl in school who Regina George would often think about.

Previously, Regina only recruited her so she could be seen as the "nice" plastic, or the plastic who was "Chinese" (Angelica herself was Korean, but it was added points anyway for "diversity"). It worked for the popular clique, Angelica gained popularity, which gave into the plastics, who plastics got more popular. Win-win, right?

Sure...but Regina hated it. She hated Angelica's smile, laugh, hair, fashion, everything! Regina never even knew why, she just hated it. Regina hid the hidden feelings for Angelica (who she lovingly called Angel), not wanting to believe she was romantically attracted to a girl. That's why she was internally jealous Angelica. Finally, Regina came to those terms, but she'd never publicly tell anyone.

She couldn't tell anyone, not even Angelica, about those feelings. It'd be heavily frowned upon, her reputation would be done for. As a selfish act, being young, stupid, and clearly in a deep crush—Regina kicked out Angelica from the plastics.

In return, Angelica started to hang out with Janis and Damian—the art freaks. Luckily, with her already high popularity and great reputation, she didn't need to do much socializing at all. Janis had invited her to hang out with Damian. The art freaks were accepting of Angelica and immediately became an addition to their duo — now more of a trio. The three were great. If they were lucky enough, Angelica would spill secrets of hanging out with the plastics. Angelica didn't want to go back, she was content with that.

Meanwhile, Regina George couldn't let her feelings subside. They still stayed strong, and Regina knew she was stubborn enough to never let it go. Regina George never shared, and never planned to.

Eventually, Regina George would strike again on Angelica Kim—this time she'd plan to actually make a move. And when new girl Cady Herron came for junior year, this made the flirtatious game much easier for Regina.
