Emily's POV

Okay! That was just rude. Why would he do that? I was only trying to to be nice. He had no reason to shout at me like that. What was even the purpose of removing my hand severely harsh from his chest, I said sorry a dozen of times. My wrist still hurts a bit. I get it, he was upset but he was just being unnecessarily rude, he even gave me the annoyed look. I get it, I was wrong but I was sincerely apologetic.

But I think I know that man from some where if I am not mistaken. His face is quite familiar though. Even though, he is too handsome to be rude like that. Well, I guess the cuter they are, the more arrogant they are.

Anywhere let me rush to my interview. I can't have bad luck twice a day right. What could go wrong again? I am really looking forward to getting this job.

I patted myself with my everyday motto "lift your head high and take over the world." I called an Uber, I was already running out of time and my interview was starting at 7.30 a.m. Well I was told to be there by that time.

My Uber arrived in 5mins and thank Heavens I was there in time, at least a bit earlier with 10 minutes. It was quite a relief, I even wiped an invisible sweat on my forehead "phew".

I greeted the receptionist and told her I was there for an interview. She was pretty nice though, she then directed me to where I was supposed to go and wait to be called in. My mind just kept going on back to that guy I bumped into at the coffee shop as I sat there awaiting my fate. I can't place his face yet but I know I will figure it out.

I looked at my watch and I was pretty nervous and a bit shaky as I sat there because any moment I was going to be called in for the interview.

A couple more minutes passed by and I saw a tall brunette girl coming my way wearing an off-white pant suit. She called my name and told me to follow her. She was all smiles, beautiful and quite curvy.

We reached at a door, she gave me a go ahead to enter into the office.

The office was very big and you could see it was designed to suit a billionaire office design. It's partitions you could see that they were made to see better days of the future. It was glass all over and the floor was well polished and made from the best marble. I could actually see myself as I looked down.

I walked towards the man in front me and he instructed me to sit down. The man had a serious face and I could see he meant business. I was actually afraid if he was going to make me pass the interview. Could this day get anymore worse for me.

"I am Rick Ferreri and I will be conducting your interview today since Mr Kruger is not here today. He was supposed to do this himself but was called to a very important meeting." The man said seriously and did a light cough to clear his throat. I just nodded just to make him see I was listening, what could I have possibly said in this scenario. The old serious man didn't make the interview very hard though and I was glad I was able to respond to him.

After the interview was done, the man told me they were going to call me and tell me if I was getting the job after a week if Mr Kruger approved. I nodded and was told to go.

After my interview, I went for a little window shopping for clothes since I didn't have anything to do anymore. I wanted to time to pass by.

After a while, I headed home. I called an Uber and I went home. When I got home I saw Sydney, my best friend, sitting on the couch, busy watching reality TV show. It was her off day today so she had nothing to do. She was glued to the TV and I think something was shocking her as she was staring at the TV, hold the remote in one hand and a bucket of popcorn between her legs as she ate some.
