Chapter 2: an EMO-tional death
I woke up again to the same morning announcement. We all gathered up in the cafeteria; everyone was here. We ate breakfast, everyone seemed destressed, and sleep deprived. I mean who wouldn't be? We witnessed two of our friends die, or well one's dead body and watched another one die. We started exploring the new room, a library. We discovered student files from other students that participated in the killing game. The nighttime announcement went off and we all headed back to our dorms to sleep. I woke up to the morning announcement and got ready for the day. Once again everyone was here except for Occa. We all looked at each other worried, was Occa dead? I tried to think about something else, but the picture of her dead body kept popping into my mind. I had this gut feeling that she was dead and that yet again we would have to watch another one of us get executed. "Does anyone know where Occa is?" Akari asked worriedly. I glanced at the door that we all came in from and sighed "what if she's dead too?" I mumbled. Everyone looked at me like I was insane, "What? She should be here by now" I said. "He's right" Nemokasha said. "We should go check on her" Makota said. We all headed to her room together, but she wasn't there. We sighed and headed off to the occult room where we all screamed. "Ahem! A body has been discovered, after a short amount of time, which you may use however you'd like. The class trial will commence." There in front of us was Occa's dead body. It looked like she had been trying to do a ritual, but it went wrong. What happened here? My mind was spinning, and I had no idea that I was falling to the ground. Everything happened to fast that I couldn't even stop myself from falling into Occa's blood.
Later
I open my eyes and groan rubbing my head, "What happened? Where's Occa?" I asked everyone shook their heads "She's dead" Xena said. I stared in utter shock. "W-what?" I stuttered. They sighed, "Come on, let's go investigate" Makota said. We investigated the crime scene and headed to the trial elevator. "Alright, you guys already know the rules of the trial find out the guilty party and only they get punished, get it wrong and the guilty party walks out free and every else gets punished" Monokuma said "Let's get this started" he said sitting back. "Don't blame me! I didn't have a clue!" Kaeda yelled. "Well, it's not my fault, I'm innocent like you!" Kirishimaku said. "Don't you know that's also what she claimed?" Nemokasha said softly. "This will never work if we all say the same" Akari said. "What the hell's this? I'm going to be sick" Makisaku said. "That's enough now" Xena said. "I'm just saying I'm so pissed" Makisaku said. "Guys I know how you must feel but you're getting too carried away it's unreal" I said. We discussed some more. We voted for Makota. Monokuma pulled a lever "CORRECT! MAKOTA KILLED OCCA!" he pulled out a hammer and smiled evilly. "Let's give it everything we got.... it's punishment time!" He hit a button. A metal chocker went around Makota's neck. He was surrounded by soldier Monokuma's who started shooting at him. Many painful screams were heard and then there before us laid Makota's lifeless body. We all headed back to our dorms. I went to bed gods this was getting to become too much.
