Suddenly, Zack's goons started talking about a different topic which caught Daniel's full attention and what they've said about his mom infuriated him.
'Because of me, my mom was getting insulted. When she does her best...if you want to insult, just insult me!' Daniel thought.
"Hey...you've gone too far." he said looking at both Zack and his goons.
The words that came out of his mouth took the others off guard and surprised except for Zack.
Zack was utterly pissed off because of what Daniel did especially in front of Mira and M/n.
"Daniel is right. Plus, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. What if they made comments about your mom like you guys did, you guys wouldn't like that, right?" M/n looked at Zack and his goons with such hatred yet cold eyes if only looks could kill.
This caught Zack and his goons flinching or in awe even Jay as well since he hasn't seen this side of M/n like that.
Yet it was a bit unnerving because Jay was so used to M/n's adorable and shy character.
It's like what other people would say "Never let their appearance fool you because they are so much more than what they seem."
Zack suddenly kicked his desk which almost hit M/n in the process of it wasn't for Jay pulling him by the waist just in time.
"Hey. You're fucking funny. You know that?" as he looks at Daniel.
"Get up you fucking worm." he added as this caused the whole fashion department into an uproar.
Soon, this sudden news came flying around throughout the school and now everybody is headed to the fashion department to witness the fight between Zack and Daniel.
While this was happening, M/n who was standing next to Jay could only sigh and facepalmed at the situation but also felt very irritated as well.
'Does there need to be a fight right now? School hasn't even started and it's still early in the morning(¯―¯٥).' M/n thought.
There were so many people crowding both inside and outside of the fashion department.
Even though they were there to witness the fight, all of the girls from different departments took this opportunity to see Daniel.
Both Zack and Daniel were now standing across from each other as Zack was now starting to make a fighting stance.
"Hey wuss. I told you to come at me!" he yelled. 'Let's see if he knows how to fight.' Zack thought as he waited for Daniel to make a move.
"Why's he standing there?"
"Is he scared?"
"Fuck. I was scared for no reason before."
"Oh man...I guess that guy is not a fighter.."
"This'll be sad to see..."
People started whispering and making assumptions about Daniel while Zoe on the side was trying to make Zack stop but he was too focused on wanting to beat up Daniel and too busy to impress in front of Mira and M/n.
'His posture is poor. He's just a pretty boy? Nice! One punch knockout! Let's do this! Watch close, Mira and M/n.' Zack thought as he got his right fist ready to punch.
Before Zack could land a punch, Jay caught his wrist tightly before he could. Jay's action caught Zack and the bystanders off guard.
'What the fuck is he?' Zack thought. The people who were watching this were whispering about Jay.
'He's usually like a fly on the wall. But his grip is incredibly strong!' Zack thought as he glanced at both his crushes as they stared at him.
"LET GO! YOU DICK!" he yelled as he yanked himself from Jay's grip.
Zack went for another punch while Daniel dodged it which shocked everyone. Even Daniel couldn't believe he dodged Zack's punch.
A few seconds passed until everyone erupted about Daniel's dodge. Zack then started throwing multiple punches but Daniel kept dodging them.
Zack was getting nervous and anxious every second after his punches were dodged but then noticed that his two crushes were watching.
He then had an idea and decided to fake his punch and use his other first to take a hit.
M/n and Jay were on the sidelines watching anxiously but worried for Daniel's safety.
Jay was so focused on the fight that he didn't noticed that M/n went and ran in front of Daniel to protect him.
"NO!" M/n yelled as he glared at Zack.
His yell brought everyone's attention to him and noticed that he was about to get hit from Zack's punch.
Before Jay could protect M/n, Daniel pulled M/n behind him and caught Zack's punch that was inches close toward his face.
Everyone was now shocked again and Jay on the other hand was relief that M/n didn't get hurt but Zack was beyond shocked and thought Daniel is a real fighter.
Before everyone would know what happens next, Daniel punched Zack in one shot who was now kneeling down on the ground coughing hard.
This scene caused an uproar amongst the J high students about how Daniel defeated Zack in one punch.
"LOWER YOUR EYES! DID YOU ENJOY THAT? I SAW EVERYONE WHO SMILED! I WILL PLUCK YIUT EYES OUT!" he yelled at everyone who were watching the fight and then turned his face away to hide his humiliation from his crushes.
Despite how much of a big bully Zack was, M/n decided to walk up to him and didn't care about the people who were staring at him in wonders.
Everyone was watching closely as M/n knelt down and help Zack stand up while supporting him in return he complied right away without complain.
The both were about to walk their way to the nurses office, M/n stopped and turned his head to the side and smiled at Daniel who was looking perplexed.
"You did well on stopping Zack before it got worse."he smiled and it gave Daniel a warm feeling in his chest.
