Karl POV:
Quarantine started I don't know how long ago it couldn't be to long ago. I'm not sure  I decided if I wanted better chances at not dying from boredom I should move into a house and not stay in a apartment.

I've had the money to do this for awhile but put it off for some reason. So when I got all the paperwork done and out of the way it was time to move my stuff in.

I stood outside and looked at it. I mean it didn't look bad. Just a lot of vines and plants. Nothing like a little gardening can't fix.

"Oh hello!" I hear a voice so I turned around and saw a black hair man with a blue hoodie.

"Hii!" I yell back. "I haven't seen anyone move in this house for ages. So kids made up some rumors saying it's haunted." He says.

"Ohhh lovely." I say looking back at the house. "Don't worry it's not really the kids just like to say that. Speaking of kids where are your parents?"

I flinch at the question. My parents are the loving and supportive family as you think.

"Oh Um well they kinda abandoned me cause they found out something they shouldn't." I say awkwardly wanting to change the subject.

The blue man looked surprised and sad. "Im so so sorry that happened..but I understand completely my parents found out I was gay cause I was dating this boy who is now my husband."

I look at him and smile wide. "That is so cool!!" I say enthusiastically. "Awe thank you. Hey if you ever need anything here my number." He says writing his number down and putting it on the sidewalk.

"Don't wanna break covid rules." He says laughing a bit. I smile.

"That's very true." I say as he walks inside. I grab the note and walk inside my new house. It looked much prettier on the inside than out. I already moved all my stuff in but now I gotta focus on the yard.

I walk up to my room and look out my window seeing a guy with a black hoodie on.

I stare at him for a minute until he looks up. I feel my face heat up as I jump. He smiles than waves. I do the same gesture back.

He seems cool. Does that man have a son?I look over once again and see his curtains close. Did I scare him off? Dammit why do I always do that.

I shut my curtains and decided to head to bed...

Next morning:
*Beep* *Beep*

Ughh who could that be its seven in the goddamn morning. I grabbed my phone which was luckily right next to me and see who it was.

It was my friend Chris.

Chris:
Yoooo how's the new house Heard it was overgrown

Chris:

Me:
