Chapter 1

[Drew's POV]
I just got to school and when I did I saw Liam and Henry waiting for me, but not Jake. I walked up to Liam and Henry and asked,
"Hey guys, where is Jake?" -Drew
"Jake said he was going to go hang with that music freak or whatever" Henry replied.
"ugh, that music freak always gets in the way"
"oh, okay.. what are they doing anyway?" I asked them
"eh, I don't know, something" Henry said, "hm..."

"Okay, bye Hailey!" -Jake
I look up and who do I see? Jake.
"Hey guys, what's up?" -Jake
"why are you hanging out with that freak?" I asked Jake.
"Drew, don't call her that" -Jake
"and why not?" -Drew
"because she's not a freak" -Jake
"ugh, whatever." -Drew

"Anyway, you wanna hang after school?" -Drew
"Sorry, I told Hailey we'd practice for the competition after school" -Jake
"Ugh, whatever, don't come then" I told Jake as I walked away to my first class.
"Why does that music freak get all his attention?"
"I just want things to be like old times."
"Whatever, I should probably stop overthinking it and get to class"

(Time skip to after school because I have no more ideas for a school day)

[Jake's POV]
School ended and the first thing I do when class ended was to go to Drew to apologise for earlier.
"Hey Drew" -Jake
"what is it now?" -Jake
"I just wanted to apologise about this morning, I know we haven't been spending time together much lately but we really need to practice more for the competition coming up" -Jake
"Do whatever" Drew said as he rolled his eyes.
I looked at Drew and I could tell he was upset about it, Drew walked away and as he did I started feeling bad so I decided to make an exception, I messaged Hailey and told her that we'll have to reschedule.

Hailey 🎤
You: Hey, Hailey?
Hailey: yeah?
You: can we reschedule the hangout for another time?
Hailey: why do you want to reschedule?
You: It's nothing important, something just came up!
Hailey: oh, okay then, yeah we can reschedule
You: Thanks

"Okay, now that that's done, I need to go after Drew"
When I looked up to see where Drew went I could see him walking home with his hands in his pockets looking down.
I ran towards Drew before he went any further, I grabbed his arm as he turned around to look at me looking a little bit red.
I looked at Drew wondering why he was looking red so I asked him,
"Are you feeling okay? Do you have a fever?" I asked him as I put my hand on his forehead trying to see if it was warm and I saw him turning more red.
"I-I'm fine" -Drew
"Really? You don't look fine, you seem to be more red?" -Jake
As I said that Drew turned his head to look away and when he looked back it was gone
"Huh, weird"
"Anyways why did you follow me?" -Drew
"Oh, I just wanted to say I cancelled my plans with Hailey ^^ you looked upset and I felt bad so we rescheduled it for another time" -Jake
Drew looked at me again with shocked look while turning red again
"Y-you did?" -Drew
"Yeah! Is there a problem?" -Jake
"N-no" Drew said grabbing my hand while running to his house
As Drew was dragging me by the hand I looked a Drew and I felt something.. something weird.
"I never realised how cute Drew was.."
I didn't know what this feeling was but I liked it.

[Yes I know he likes Daisy but for the sake of this shit pretend he doesn't]

We arrived at Drew's house and when we got there he looked at me and immediately let go of my hand, realising what he was doing.
"S-sorry, um I was thinking if maybe we could have like a sleepover tonight? With Liam and Henry?" - Drew
"That sounds like a great idea ^^ have you asked them" -Jake
"I asked them earlier today, if you weren't going to come it was just going to be us three, but I'm glad you're here" -Drew

*DING DONG*

The doorbell rang, can you guess who it was?
That's right, Liam and Henry!
