No one's P.O.V.
Everyone's been surprisingly quiet since Gyeoul had that meltdown, ultimately fainting. Minji is with her and just informed the others about the youngest's high fever probably from exhaustion.

Yohan has decided that he's never going to talk to her for making a fool out of him while Jeonghan is lost in his thoughts trying to figure out what to do next.

He could only hope it doesn't affect Kangmin too much, it's true that through all these years he have became immune to many things but few still remains a sensitive spot.

"Uff....Night duty is definitely not for me." Minji groaned dropping on the sofa.

"How is she? Still sleeping? Did she tell you something?" Yohan bombarded the other with questions.

"Fine. Yes. No." Minji answered "Although she did talked in her sleep if it counts"

"What" Jeonghan asked.

"Just few curses to all three of you. And now please shush you both." There goes the mama bear to sleep. "ALSO, dont forget to check on her."

The two wanted to protest but looking at the tired Minji they didn't, moreover in their heart of hearts they were kinda worried for her considering its their mistake she's in this mess.

Kangmin's P.O.V.
No matter how much I try I just can't get her words out of my mind, her accusing eyes and broken sobs.

"You okay" Jeonghan's question halts my thoughts.

"Ofcourse. Why wouldn't I be." His chuckle tells me that he can see right through me. Like always.

"What are you planning on next? You know I don't think solidarity confinement would be right." When Jeonghan tells you his personal advice just know the person is becoming important to him.

" I know that. And she's not going to be with us for long so don't get too attached." I suggested.

Jeonghan sighed as I lit my cigarette for a smoke " How is she tho" I asked meekly.

"Hot" I lift my eyesbrows to question him when he continues "I mean literally she's got a fever. You shouldn't talk to her before noon Minji said."

Okay the last thing I need right now is a lecture from Minji.

Gyeoul's P.O.V.
I can't remember the last time I slept so well but I'm soo embarrassed about what happened earlier. I will need atleast an hour to mentally prepare myself before facing them especially Kangmin. Ahh Godd.

"Oh do I see the deciever awake" Yohan sarcased which results in me flinching.

"Bro... You like watching girls asleep or something? Kinky." I answered.

"Yeah I had to fight off some intrusive thoughts about choking you in your sleep but guess what I didn't. You know what I don't even know why I'm talking to you liar in the first place." He humf-ed.

"If you're angry with me I get it, okay. I-I just had to atleast try to get out, it's different to join mafia at your will and to be confined forcibly." I tried to explain my side.

"First of all there's no if. And second" he continued with a sigh "I get it okay? Just don't do something stupid like this in the future if hyung lets you off easily." He ended.

After getting no reply from me he simply made his way out of my room after informing me to meet Kangmin in his office if I'm fine.

~Kangmin's Office~

Taking a seat in front of the boss I just took a deep breath, rubbing my sweaty palms off my jeans and preparing to hear the worst combinations of words possible, on a second note he smokes so much and I've never seen his glass empty.

"I'm not interested in your little breakdown story so I'll just cut the chase to the important part here." Kangmin asserted.

"The most difficult thing for you must be not knowing how long you have to be with us, so -100 days. After 100 days you'll be back to your normal life and will not see us ever again." He ended.

"But-" He cutted me off.

"I'm not done yet. Now where's your profit in this? Well if you continue your little bartending job-"

"It's a cafe not bar."

He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and continues "if you continue your little barista job it'll take years to collect your college fees. If you stay here I'll fund all your college expenses."

100 days doesn't sound that bad to be honest, and considering that I've saved only half of what I need for college his deal sounds good.

"After hundred days I will never ever -ever hear from you" I asked.

" Dont flatter yourself thinking you're that important." Yep could've just said no but nonetheless positive answer for me. "So deal?"

"Deal" I go for the handshake and... I'm waiting, is this jerk seriously going to leave my hand hanging? Oh finally he shook it, there's not much size difference but ouch his is definitely more firmer.

"You'll start training from tomorrow. Now get lost." He resumed his work while sipping his drink.

~At Night~

Today's day was relaxing, after the deal I just ate and slept more then took a bathe and had dinner. Now I'm going to my new Boss's office to sign the contract, as directed by Minji unni.

I was just going to knock when I heard Jeonghan and Kangmin talking now I know I shouldn't eavesdrop but whatever.

[Here the Italics shows Kangmin's lines]

"Kangmin do you still regret it? I mean after what Gyeoul said I know you keep thinking about the past but.... Don't. It'll only hurt you more." What is he talking about.

"I know it's just....when she said I don't want to be in mafia I just want a normal life....Its exactly what I said to you remember" He chuckled " Maybe that's why I could somehow relate to her more and just know what she needs- a deadline."

"You-"

Maybe I was too immersed in their talk that I just leaned onto the vase which resulted in its falling and breaking to pieces. Shitt is it the day I become an example to Curiosity killed the Human?

I hope I'm not stretching the story too much it's just that I'm a sucker for slowburns, I just can't magically make them fall for each other right?? But seriously I need your views on whether I need to speed it up or not.
