He has my hand in his direction. I'm still shocked, I mean wouldn't you be if one of your closest friends' dads helped kill your mom? No no no ,don't think about that Y/N you don't want to cry on your first day Infront of everyone.
I'm in my own thoughts and don't even realise when we stop. I look up and I'm met with a hard glare sent from Lucius. I turn my head to meet Narcissa's, her warm loving eyes remind me too much of my mom's. How could 2 different types of people end up together I think.
"Mom this is y/n, and y/n this is my mom" Draco introduces us. I stick my hand out for a handshake not sure what to do, but instead I'm brought into a hug. I take in the scent of vanilla and a warm fireplace, I melt into the hug and soon let go.
Draco turns to his dad " Father this is y/n, and y/n, my dad" he says making a hand gesture towards him.
I stand there uneasy and look into those dark eyes. " We meet again, what a pleasure" He says with a smirk and sticks out his hand. I place my mind into his and feel the cold metal on his fingers from the rings he's wearing. I let go because I felt like my bones had submerged into one.
Once again I stand awkwardly, the memories of that night flashing through my mind. The hood he was wearing, the cat, the broken door, the ash that covered the surfaces. It all becomes too much, tears rushing to my eyes threatening to spill.
I look at Draco 's confused face and he looks at me holding eye contact, he realises the tears in my eyes and nods indicating it's alright to leave.
"Yea y/n you can go, i know you want to see Riddle" He says making up a situation to let me go. I knew i would have to explain to him sooner or later but i hoped later. I walked normally until the Malfoys were out of sight and then started to jog to the entrance of the train.
I walked inside the train with my bag still on my back and tried to find an empty compartment at the back. To my delight at the back sat my best friend Mattheo Riddle surrounded by his friends. I knocked on the compartment door and he turned his head and looked at me, without even saying something to his friends he opened the door, grabbed my hand and pulled me in asking his friends to leave for a second.
He sat me on his lap and dipped my head so I could look into his eyes. " What's wrong y/n" he says softly stroking my face wiping the tears.
"His dad-- mom-- she's dead i- can't not" I cry.
He looks into my eyes thinking and his eyes twinkle for a second. " Hey, take a deep breath with me, ready," he says.
He breathes in, I try to follow his breaths with my shaky ones.
He repeats this 3 times, the last one I manage to perfect.
"Okay now you wanna tell me?" he says softly, continuing to stroke my face.
"Umm ok? So you know how I wasn't writing to you over the summer?" He nods "It was because my mom died" His expression goes down and he looks like he should've known this before. "It's okay , but the day she died these 2 death eaters came to my house at night on my mom's birthday while she was opening the presents. We had just given her the cat when they barged through the door. Dad was in the bathroom when it happened. I was so scared, Yaxley said the words and she dropped like a rock and then he pointed the wand at me but Draco's dad said not to kill me for some reason but he still scares me. And Draco just introduced them to me." I say with a shaky voice.
"Hey, you know it's going to be okay, okay?" he says comfortingly.
I nod, I knew Mattheo would do anything to protect me. It's just how he was from the day I first met him.
"You can let the others in, I want to say hi to Theodore '' I say. He places me next to him and opens the door letting the others in.
Theodore walks in first, "Hii '' I say, wiping the tears out of my eyes. I get up and strangle him into a hug. "I missed you so much, '' I say. "Hey love" he says, greeting me. He then sits down and I follow him sitting in between him and Mattheo.
I put my head in his lap and my legs on Matteo's to be more comfortable.
The boys talk about their holidays and I drift into my own thoughts.
What do i do when Draco asks about what happened earlier. Will he do it in front of others? I think it's the end of me and Pansy's relationship, and honestly I knew it was coming...
The trolley lady comes soon and the boys get sweets which after a long debate, I pay for. Soon after the train stops and it all goes dark I feel a presence of a creature near me and I go back to the night my mom died. I scream out but none can hear me.
Someone says some words and it goes back to reality. and I'm more tired than before , what a long day.
And then after the boys fuss over me I fall into a deep slumber.
A/N: Just to clarify you and Mattheo have been friends since early childhood which will be explained further down the story and Theodore is that affectionate friend that calls everyone love. Hope that explained that, and again sorry for the late chapter
