Fyodor's pov:

It was 2:42pm, Nikolai's favorite time of day. Almost everyday, he would go for a walk in the park, today he brought me with him. Nikolai liked the park because it was an open space for him, plus it had a friendly atmosphere.

"Look Dos! A fountain! We can wish on it!"

I smiled at him, a quick and rather soft one. Gogol was an intriguing person to get to know, though I've figured mostly everything about him, he never ceased to interest me. I was his God and he was my servent, a servent that longed to be free but knew he couldn't leave me for dead.

I slowly walk over to the fountain to see Nikolai asking random children for coins. I glare into the back of his head. He stood up straight and walked over to the fountain with obedience, it seems he had might have noticed I was glaring at him from behind. He already was holding what looked like 3 or 4 dollars of yen in coins within his hands. He looked at me, smiled and went into focus to throw the coins and make the many wishes he probably had.

...

It had barley been a minute when I felt something nudge my leg. Rather odd, but I knew it wasn't  some weirdo kid, it had to be some sort of animal. I looked under the bench I was sitting on and saw a small puppy. I reached under and pulled it onto the bench to better see what breed of dog it was.

I put the dog in my lap, it was a small dog perhaps a baby with light beige coloring, and small nose and barley tail. It could've been a mix but from I can tell it's mostly a Shiba Inu. I believe it was also female. Growing up and still even now, I've wanted a dog.

Dogs and Nikolai are somewhat similar now that I put my mind to it. Both loud and obnoxious in a good and maybe even cute way, likes jumping and running around, wants to be free and loves to play. They also both chase birds.

"Dos-kun, put the dog down. We can't have one. Also I'm bored, let's go back home now."

"Mhm,  do you not want a dog, love?"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"We will talk about it after dinner."

...

For dinner we had chicken curry with rice balls. We also had Sigma over for a bit. I couldn't care less, I stopped listening once Nikolai said: "Hey Feyda, you should 'Sigma' balls!" The only thing I could really focus on at the moment was how to get Nikolai to let us keep a dog.

"Hey Dostoevsky, are you okay?"

The voice awoke me from my thoughts. It was calm so it had to be Sigma's.

"Gogol ate the rest of your curry, also I'm headed out back to the casino. Bye!"

"Byeee Sigmaaaa!" Nikolai said with a mouth full of food.

I wasn't hungry anyways. Now that dinner was over and Sigma had left me and Nikolai could finally have our talk.

"Love, it's time to talk about this."

"Okaay!" I looked over at him to see him still shoving his face with the leftover curry.

...

We were in the master bedroom now, I was sitting on the bed with my legs spread open wide enough for Gogol to lean his head back into my lap while sitting on the carpet floor. This was a nightly thing for us. We'd get into position and I'd undo my lover's braid as he sat there on the floor, talking to me as he removed his accessories and makeup. And then he'd look up at me when finished. Both of his eyes visible, two different colors, both vibrant and beautiful, he was worthy. Nikolai was worthy, worthy of being my lover, worthy of being mine. This is my true beauty, this was true beauty. His eyes met with mine, canary and ocean blue eyes against my own gleaming dark magenta eyes. We'd share a passionate kiss or two, and head off to bed. Holding onto one another close, like we wouldn't see tomorrow. I loved it. Then there were times when Nikolai couldn't fall asleep some nights, nightmares obviously striking him, scarring him. I hated when he was torn down, he didn't deserve it.

Tonight seemed a bit different, although we were both in night clothes, Nikolai still had his overcoat on.

"Let's talk about this, love. Why don't you want a dog?"

"To much work."

"That's unreasonable, i'll list the pros, you list the cons."

"They use the bathroom everywhere Dos."

"We can clean it up, easy."

"They make so much mess."

"So do you but I kept you."

"Hard to control."

"Once again, like yourself."

"Toys and food are expensive."

"We have plenty of money to spend."

"Keeping a dog is a lot of responsibility."

"Do you think I'm that immature?"

"It's a lot harder than it looks."

"Mhm."

"It's gonna take all the attention from you away from me."

"Sure it is, let's name some pros now, okay?"

Since Nikolai was done getting ready for bed and his hair was done, he got off the floor and got me to sit on his lap. With his head hanging slightly over my shoulder, giving me a small massage.

"It would be a lot of fun."

"..."

"You would have more mayham."

"..."

"Taking it on walks shouldn't be to hard because of your daily afternoon walk, just add a morning one."

"..."

"Someone who is always as excited as you."

"..."

"When we are away we have Sigma to look after it."

"..."

"I promise I'll give you more attention to you than the dog."

After I said that, Nikolai lifted his head off my shoulder and looked at me with curious eyes.

"Promise?"

"Of course darling."

"Okey! Close your eyes Dos!"

"What surprise do you have for me tonight?"

I felt the cold air hit me as Nikolai gently moved me off his lap and took his cloak with him. I heard him place it over his shoulders and then aggressive rustling and shushing. I smelled a vinalla aroma mixed with some minty shampoo. I tasted the rice with a bit of chicken from dinner not to long ago. I saw nothing.

"Open!"

I opened my eyes to see a happy Nikolai and a happy dog. A dog. A dog? The very same Shiba Inu from the park. I smiled softly at my lover. He knew how to make me smile, the only one that made me smile like this, genuinely.

"Isn't so cute Feyda?! I saw you hold it at the park! This was my plan from the very st-"

"Thank you, my love."
