Time skip to Friday Dream's pov(I just wanna finish this book and start a new one I have too many ideas sorry)
Today's the day, as I watched from the city walls I can see that most of the civilians have left, the past few days have been stressful, but now lined up before is an army that can actually stand a chance
"Today's the day, I will either go down with the kingdom, or kill every one of manburgs troops to protect it! And I expect everyone of you to do the same," I heard Techno shout from behind me as he walked over
"For our kingdom!" The troops below started chanting over and over again.
"Techno,"
"Dream."
"Be careful, I don't want to lose you"
"Have a little more faith in me, I'm not called the blood god for nothing" he joked, I didn't laugh
"It's going to be okay," he said as he warped his arms around me
"Ahem," I looked up to see foolish and drista standing by the door
Techno let's go of me as I ran over to hug them
"Be careful Kay? I don't want to lose you smiley" I felt tears building up at the sound of the old nickname
"I will, but if I don't make it, just know that I love you both" I felt a smack
"Ow drista! what was that for?!"
"Your going to make it out alive! You hear me? If you don't you don't want to know what I'll do" she said as she hugged me tightly
"F-Foolish, h-help me, I-I can't breathe" I tried to get drista to let go but she only hugged me tighter
"Naaa you deserve this" he said as he joined in
Eventually they did let go but not before yelling at me about not dying
"Yeah yeah I'll try," I said bitterly
"We love you," they said as they left to get ready
I walked back over to Techno to see that almost all the minors are hugging him, all except purpled, so I snuck up behind him and tackled him
"AH!" He yelled in surprise
"Holy shit dream, you gave me a heart attack!" I said as he clutched on to me, I said nothing as I held him, we stayed like that for a few minutes before I felt a few more pairs of arm warped around me
I looked up to see that Tommy, tubbo and ranboo had joined in the hug
We stayed like that for a few minutes before
"YOUR HIGHNESS! WE HAVE SPOTTED MANBURG'S ARMY IN THE WOODS TO THE EAST OF THE CASTLE!" A guard yell as he tried to catch his breath
"Right, EVERY ONE LISTEN UP, the enemy has been spotted and will be here any minute now, the plan is to get them to retreat! Hold them back from the city for as long as possible!" I tuned out the rest of the speech as I dragged the minor's into the city
"Look I'm going to need you guy to hide an-"
"NO! We aren't pusses we want to help!"
"Prince tommy, this is not the time t-"
"NO THIS IS MY HOME! And I will protect it."
"Prince tommy you can help by protecting the citizens, and bandaging wounds" i sighed in defeat
"But I want to fight!" Tubbo said
"Guys, you are too young to do anything against grown men"
"We are not!"
