I think it's important to note that this book is a sequel. If you have not read the first installment to this series (A Miscarriage of Hope), go do that before reading this one.
Another important note: due to the different POV characters spread out in the world of this story, some chapters will not be strictly chronologically organized. A few opening chapters happen before the Battle of Untot, while others take place months after.
Trigger warning for the same things as the first book: mental illness, suicidal thoughts, blood and gore, sex, sexual assault, and general mature themes. If these things are not for you, feel free to click away from the story, though if you read book one this all should be nothing new.
