I was in 7th period when the teacher asked us to group up in pairs, just as I was barley standing I was faced with Robin and Miguel both standing there awkwardly looking at eachother

"i was-

"but I got-

"no-

"Oh! um you know what i'll just go with finn you two can partner up" I said quickly walking away from the awkward situation I just witnessed

"finn be my partner!" I said grabbing finns arm as he glanced at me

"no! i was going to ask donna-

"oh shut up you can barley speak to her without stuttering" I interrupted him as he rolled his eyes

"you owe me" Finn replied huffing out in annoyance

"why didn't you partner with your boyfriend robin" Finney replied grinning at the word boyfriend

"ugh shut up no! and because miguel and robin were gonna ask me but it got too awkward so I left" I replied quickly rushing my words as Finney laughed

"it's not funny finn!" I replied smacking his arm as he laughed more

"jeez y/n you got two now" Finney replied once again laughing

"stop!" I replied chuckling

"alright whatever let's start with the assignment" Finn replied as we both started working on it, minutes passed by and I glanced at miguel as he was working with some girl, im guessing they both didn't wanna be each others partners so they found someone else

I glanced Robins way to see him coldly glaring at me in anger, next to him was a snobby girl who was batting her eyes at Robin as Robin ignored her still glaring at me as I laughed

"i'm going to kill you" Robin mouthed to me as I laughed more causing Finn to hit my arm telling me to shut up

"look who arellano working with" I said still trying to compose myself, Finn looked his way and started laughing as Robin stared at us angrily

"Finney Blake and Y/n Mendoza do your work before I give you both an F!" The teacher yelled at us while students glanced at us as we tried composing ourselves

"sorry" Finn said composing himself as I tried not to laugh trying to hold a straight face

We continued working on our project as I noticed Miguel kept glancing my way causing me to get nervous

"why you so tense" Finney said noticing as giving me concerned look

"miguel keeps glancing over here" I said sinking into my seat as Finney started laughing

"so?" Finney replied now confused

"what if hes like you know judging me or something" I replied back glancing at him

"jeez never thought you'll care about a boys opinion on you" Finn replied chuckling as I glared at him

"shut up! like what if he's making fun of-

"i dont think he would just relax" Finn said shaking his head slightly laughing

"oh yeah I guess" I replied as I went to my assignment

School was finally over and Miguel went up to me as he started talking to me but behind him I saw a robin glancing at us as he huffed out walking out the school doors

"y/n you there?"

"sorry! um my brothers are waiting for me im so sorry I have to go!" I said quickly rushing my words as I gave him a apologetic look
