Third Person POV:
"Why do I have to be called by Jean so early in the morning?" Y/n groaned in annoyance as she remembers what had led her to the current predicament at hand.Flashback:
Knock Knock!
"Who in the name of Barbados is awake at this time, and have the nerve to disturb my rest?" Y/n complained as she made her way to the door to answer it. Once the door had been opened, a Favonius Knight appeared before her with a message from the Acting Grand Master. "Acting Grand Master Jean requests an audience with you and wishes for you to be at The Knights of Favonius Headquarters as soon as possible!" The Knight spoke, his voice clear and commanding. What does Jean want now! Y/n thought. She seemed to grow annoyed at what was so important that she needed to be called so early in the morning, to the point where irk marks were becoming to grow visible. At this, the Knight understood what was going on based on the tense atmosphere, and quickly left without being detected by a frustrated Y/n.
After shutting the door, Y/n made her way back up to her room to begin her morning routine despite it being earlier than usual. (She's getting called at around 5:00AM, she does start her missions until 8:00AM. That is just something I made up).
End of Flashback: Y/n POV:
After walking for what seemed like ages, I finally reached the Knights headquarters. This is going to be fun. I thought to myself. Soon enough I found myself in front of Jean's office knowing full well that she had something planned for me beyond this door. I rolled my eyes and pushed open the door which revealed a brightly lit up room with light from the rising sun seeping through the window panes. "Ah, Y/n, thank you for joining me on this beautiful morning" Jean spoke up, earning a nod from myself. "What do you want Jean?" I replied coldly, in my defence, I was really tired and I don't take lightly to someone waking me a up so early in the morning."Getting to the point, I have a mission for you-" "what kind of mission?" I interrupted. She looked up to meet my cold gaze. I just wanted her to tell me want the mission is so I can get it over and done with. "This mission involves you helping fellow Knight in dragonspine". Dragonspine? Now she's really getting on my nerves. "Let me get this straight, you called me at break of dawn just to tell me that I have a mission in DRAGONSPINE!!!" I raised my voice out of frustration and anger "that is correct, and I regrettably inform you that the mission is fairly important and cannot wait until later on in the morning. I do apologise" she explained, my anger and frustration dwindled, and was replaced by an emotionless stare.
"When do I leave?" I questioned, "well, after this meeting, you shall be given time to pack any essential items that you need for your mission, and as soon as you're done, you're free to start your mission." She responded. I nodded in acknowledgment and turned to leave before I was stopped by Jeans last comment, "be careful Y/n, the monsters, beasts and fatui agents are different to the ones you usually face, they are much stronger" I hum before turning on my heals and take my leave, closing the door behind me.
While making my way back home to pack, I feel a presence lingering behind me, but when I turn my head to face them, I'm left babbled by the fact that nothing is there. I shake off the feeling and continue on my way.
