Hello my beautiful readers, I have been reading so many fanficslately an reminder clicked in my brain. I haven't given you information on Y/n! Now, I know that I gave info on her in the very first part of the story, but, that was more of a nutshell than actual info, so here is more on Y/n! Enjoy! Ps: This is gonna be a backstory for her.
Background information: Y/n originally came to Mondstadt from Khaenri'ah, before it got destroyed. When she found out, she was devastated. Her home, her family, everything, was gone. However, she noticed that after two or three years, she stopped ageing, she was 15 when she left khaenri'ah, and she stopped ageing at 17 (don't attack me for making her one year younger than Albedo, making it seem like it's illegal. May I remind you that she is over 500 years older than him). This means that she's over 500 years old as the destruction of Khaenri'ah happened around 500 years prior to the current events in Genshin Impact.
She became a Knight of Favonius and served under the Grand Master before Varka at 17 years old.
Also, a visible change could be noticed in terms of her right eye during the course of her extended years of life. The colour and pupil of her eye had changed shape and colour.

Exactly like this. (Credits to pngtree) So one eye was E/c (eye colour) and the other was a light brown with a mixture of yellow and turquoise. Her eye started to change when she was 16. Her pupil had changed into a four-pointed star, which indicated to her that it was a trait shared by very few of the people who inhabited Khaenri'ah before it's destruction.
She chose to keep it a secret, even in the current time frame of the story, she hasn't told anyone. To prevent people from noticing it, she styles her hair in a specific way in order to cover it as she is afraid that people are going to judge her.
Many years later, she was appointed a high ranking Knight of Favonius due to her assistance in protecting Mondstadt from any threats like Hilichurls or any of the Abyss order, over the many years following her acceptance into the Knights of Favonius.
Due to the loss of her family and any friends she had made over the past 500 years, she decided that she wouldn't get close to anyone ever again. Her friends didn't die of natural causes but were murdered by Abyss enemies while out on missions. This is how her angry and cold persona came to light.
She deeply holds a grudge against the Abyss order and the Gods who where responsible for the destruction of her homeland.
