The night was beginning to end and the streets were beginning to get scanty. Things had gone opposite from what Sarah thought the night would be.
"Let's go home," Luke whispered against her lips, his breath warm on hers.
"No, we can have it here," Sarah replied as she began to undo the button of his shirt.
They were both cuddled in the darkness of the back seat of his car. Luke didn't argue anymore, he slid the two arms of her dress down her shoulders while his lips still remained on hers, savouring every bit of her taste.
They made love right at the passenger's seat of Luke's car.
"Spend the night at my place," Luke suggested.
"No. My family would be worried and besides it's late already," she said as she used her hand to smoothen down her disarrayed hair.
"Just tell them you're spending the night at a friend's place."
They both sat in the silence of the car for a few minutes. After their loved up moment, she really wanted to be with him for the rest of the night.
The scent of a fruity flavored air freshener welcomed her the moment she stepped into her home the next day. As she held her heels in her hands, she promised herself never to try out what she did again.
With soft and quiet steps, she tiptoed towards her room with the help of her phone flashlight. The power supply had gone out and the day was still dark.
She entered her room and dived straight into her queen size bed. She flung her shoes to the other side of the room. As she laid on the bed in silence, her brain replayed the events of the previous night. She bit her lower lips
in disgust. She was disgusted at herself for sleeping with Luke again. She knew it wasn't what God wanted for her, but she just couldn't help the feeling when she is with Luke. She kept on reminiscing till her eyes shut and she was plunged into total darkness.
