Y/n laid in the hospital bed, a weight on her lap. She groaned and opened her eyes.

"Z-Za..na?" She asked, her throat throbbing.

(Trust me the cold air can do that- And it sucks.)

Izana's head raised as he stood up and loomed over her. "Y/n?! How are you feeling?! Are you okay?!" He asked worriedly.

She simply nodded that she was fine. She then looked around to see her surroundings.

"You're in my house. The people at the hospital said you were okay other than the fact that the cold air hurt your lungs and throat." Izana said as he hugged her close to her chest.

"Now I know you aren't feeling the best, but I need answers. Why were you at the fight? How did you know what was going to happen?" He asked.

"In the original time line you died in my arms..." she said, Izana's breath hitching.

*After explaining everything.*

Izana sat there quietly, and obviously shocked.

"So you've been trying to save me for... an entire year?" He asked, looking at Y/n.

She nodded with a sheepish smile. "S-Sorry I... didn't do it in....the past.. life.." she muttered hoarsely.

Izana kissed Y/n passionately on the lips. He held it before pulling away.

"Don't apologize. You risked everything to save me. Thank you. I love you. I love you with all my heart Y/n L/n." He said as he held her close.

Tears swelled up in Y/n's eyes as she hugged him tightly. "I love you Zana! I... I couldn't live with myself if I let you die again!" She said.

Izana kissed Y/n gently, and rested his forehead against hers.

"Y/n... Together we shall protect each other. No matter what. Got that?" He asked.

"Yeah. Together we shall protect this love!" She said and he chuckled.
