I walked into Jaylins apartment building and eyes were immediately on me. Everyone knew who I was and what I did, but I didn't care. They knew better than to step to me. I got scared looks and angry looks. One mother grabbed her daughters hand and led her in the other direction. "Never be like that." She told her, and the daughter nodded. I laughed and continued on to the elevator.

Once I got to the fifth floor I walked all the way to room 567. After knocking twice, a tall light skinned black girl opened the door.

She had green eyes and naturally long brown hair. Her body was shaped perfectly, and was being well complemented by the tight red romper she wore. Her red bottom heels made her 5 inches taller.

"Hey Jay!" I said hugging her tall frame. She hugged back and laughed. "Your sure dressed up." she said, calling out my leather cropped pink shirt, and leather black shorts with a chain belt. I had medal bracelets all down my arm, and a spike collar.

"Look whose talking?" I say as she moves aside to let me in. "Yea well, you know how that shit go."

I sat down on her bed and flopped back, exhausted from life. "What's up Lupe?" She asked, sitting down beside me. "I don't even know. I've been out all morning tryna get information from Savage Boys posted up on MY corners. It's so frustrating. ¿Por qué molestan? No es como sus esfuerzos tendrán éxito!" Jaylin laughed at me, and put her hand on my stomach. "You will be okay. Although I don't really support this gang stuff, I know you'll pull through." I chuckled and sat up. "Jay, it's not a gang, it's a Queenpin. I'm much more powerful. You should know how this works, your brother was a Kingpin." She shrugged. "I never really concerned myself with his affairs."

I stood up and walked to her refrigerator. All she has is a bunch of oven dinners and such. "Jay what did I tell you about your food storage? You know I'm always here. I need some burritos or something Mija. I'm not even trying to be stereotypical here but come on G." She started laughing so hard she had to hold her stomach. "I'm sorry. I forgot. I don't eat those things so I don't think to get them." I rolled my eyes and pulled out a bag of pre cooked chicken fried rice.

"Was there anything you wanted to do?" I asked her. "Not really. I was just planning to go out and brows the galleria a little bit. I may buy a couple things but not much." I Nodded. "Alright well then we have something to do. Let me hurry up and cook then." I turned the stove on and put a pan on it. I poured the bag of rice into it and listened to it sizzle.

"Esto va para largo!" I yelled, turning the stove on high. "Lupe calm down you just dumped it in the pan!" She laughed rushing into the open kitchen. She pushed me aside and turned the oven down a couple notches. I jumped up on the island and let her cook the rice. After 5 more minutes I got antsy, and kicked Jaylin in her ass.

"What the hell Mexico?" She asked, throwing rice at me. "Hurry up! I'm hungry!" She laughed and turned the stove off. "I'm finished now. Fix the shit yourself." I pushed her out of the way and hovered over the food. "Thanks Bae!"

After eating we headed out to the Dallas galleria to browse through stores. We weren't necessarily planning to buy anything, but if we seen something we liked it was coming home with us for sure.

"Let's go into Versace." Jay said, pulling me by my arm. I scrunched my face. "There's nothing but purses in there." I never wore purses. It just wasn't my thing. How intimidating would I be carrying a purse around?

"So what? Maybe I need a new purse." She said, dragging my in behind her. "You have enough purses."

Jaylin had purses from every brand of every color. She had one to match every outfit she had. She carried simple things in them, make up, money, her cellphone etc. I never thought it smart to carry all my important stuff in something like that. Purses get snatched all the time.

"This one would go good with your outfit." She said, handing me a hot pink clutch bag with golden flowers printed on it. I looked at her, then looked back at the clutch. "I wouldn't ever use it. Put the shit back." She laughed and rolled her eyes. "You really need to broaden your horizons. How are you supposed to know the world of fashion if you don't even experiment with certain items?" "I'm a Queenpin. Why do I need to worry about 'the world of fashion' when I'm too busy worrying about possibly having a bullet put through my head. Your the model. Worry about the shit yourself." I theew my hands up and walked out of Versace.

Standing by the outside doors waiting for her, she looked at me and mouthed the words 'pussy.' I laughed at her and flicked her off. I'm not going back into that store.

Once she was finished she came out with a white shopping back full of smaller hand bags and clutches. She smiled at me and pulled out the pink clutch she picked up for me earlier. "You may not want it now, but it shall come in handy." She put it back in the bag and I just shook my head.

The incident from earlier replayed in my head, and I sped up to the pet where the black car pulled up beside me.

"The weirdest shit happened to me earlier. I forgot to mention it." Jaylin looked at me with concern. "What's up?" "Some motherfuckers in a black car pulled up beside me in the street on my way to your place. They rolled they window down and just stared at me so I rolled mine down to. Niggas ain't say shit but look at me. I do t have an idea what it was about." She shrugged and looked forward. "I don't know. Your a Queenpin. I'm surprised things like this doesn't happen to you more often.

We continued walking through the mall searching the stores. Hairs on the back of my neck started to stand as I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked around, but seen no one. "You okay?" Jay asked me. "I'm good. I just feel like I'm being watched." She nodded. "Well, hold on for a while. I have to use the bathroom. If you see someone weird, I don't know, shoot them or something." She laughed, as what she said was a joke, but I stayed serious.

I really did feel like someone was watching me.

As she walked away towards the bathroom, the feeling got stronger. I turned all the way around to see someone standing on the wall across the walkway. They had on a white hoodie, and baggy black warmups. A bandana covered most of the bottom of their face, so I couldn't see whether it was a male or female.

Next thing I know, the person darts off in the other direction, almost bumping into a few bystanders. A scream is heard from the hall to the bathroom, and people divert their attention towards the noise.

Jaylin

I stand and run down the hall. once I get to the bathroom door marked female, I kicked the door in, only to behold an empty room, with mirror glass shattered all over the floor. A window was broken, and in the shards of broken glass still attached to the window, blood dripped down the window.

What the fuck just happened?
