"He's almost here baby doll, but you can't run out into the street, okay? I don't want you to get hurt," I said; kneeling down on the pavement.
She gave me apologetic eyes, "sorry mummy."
mummy? that's new.
"It's okay Josie, just watch out next time, yes?"
She nodded; turning back to look at the street. Harry's supposed to be here any minute, he's staying with us for a week until he goes back to New York for two more shows.
I saw a smile creep up on her face as a black suv came down the street; stopping at the end of the driveway.
"Is that him," She asked me.
"I think so," I smiled.
When the back door opened and Harry peaked out, Jo began running down the drive way to meet him.
I watched as he picked her up; kissing her cheek, "How are you doll?!"
"I missed you daddy," she said; her voice cracking because of the tears pricking her eyes. My heart breaks at how much she misses him each time he's off to a new city. But it's his job, I understand.
"I missed you too baby," he whispered in her ear. "Don't cry, shh," he said.
Harry looked up at me, greeting me silently as he comforted Josie. She's a total daddy's girl, she has him wrapped around her finger. He'd cancel a show if she wanted him too. And I don't even think his fans would be mad. They love her too.
A few moments after she calmed down, he stood back up, "let's go say hi to mummy, shall we?"
She nodded; them both walking up the drive way to meet me at the front porch.
"Hey," I whispered as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Hey angel, I missed you," he mumbled into my neck.
"I missed you too, 2 months is too long Harry.."
"I know, never again. We tried it, didn't work," he agreed.
"She cried to me Harry," I explained.
He hugged me tighter, "I know. I love you both. It's not happening again."
I nodded in response as we both let go of each other. "Also, why is she calling me 'mummy' now?"
His eyes widened, "It stuck?"
"Yes," I smiled, "I guess that's what happens when she's constantly around her british family."
Harry wants her to pick up british habits so bad, he wants her to have an accent. She kinda does, it's a weird one, like a mix. She's constantly around, Anne, Gemma, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Harry. She's bound to pick something up.
"Okay Josie, im gonna ask you a very important question, Mummy or Mommy?"
Jo thought about it, "mmm Mummy!"
"that's my girl!"
I couldn't help but smile at the two, im blessed, truly blessed.
"Let's get inside, yeah? Help daddy unpack," I asked.
"Yes! I wanna show him my new blanket!"
"You got a new blanket," Harry gasped, "that's the first thing we'll look at, let's go."
