Chapter 5 A wanted pet

Maisie woke up and saw you and Jacob sleeping. Jacob had his arm around you. She slowly got up not to awake you and Jacob. But then she spotted a blue thing. It was in a bag. It was shining blue and it was moving. You later woke up and saw Maisie awake looking at something

" What's wrong" You asked and she was pointing at the blue looking creature. You saw it sprint out. Maisie got up and  followed the creature. As she was leaving you moved Jacobs arm around you and quickly put on some of your packed clothes and followed

" Hey little guy" Maisie said and held a little bit from a fruit. You followed Maisie in to the woods

(after following the creature it finally stopped and ate the fruit)

" These things ain't so bad" Maisie said and chuckeld. She held it close until she stepped on something that made a crack sound. You turned around and saw Jacob

" What are you two doing" Jacob asked and looked at both of you with dispointment

" We are afraid anything we say will upset you" Maisie said and still held the creature. You swallowed hard

" You're probably right, just don't move" Jacob said and started walking towards you and Maisie. Carefully not to make a sound

" I'm sorry, but I've always wanted a pet" Maisie said and hugging the creature

" That's not a pet, it's a monster and were not keeping it" Jacob said

" But i already named it"

" Let me guess. Blue"  Jacob said and Maisie groaned

" You named that one Red. You named this one Blue, We stay much longer, and we'll have a rainbow of citters that wanna eat us" Jacob said and walked closer to Maisie

" But he is so cute, look at his face" Maisie said and held it towards his face

" Aw come on Jacob let her keep it, she just wants a little friend" You said and tried to convince him but that didn't work

" You two and i have a diffrent idea of cute" Jacob said and grabbed the creature and threw it away

" No" You and Maisie yelled as the creature went through the jungel. You watched as he picked up Maisie and carried her.

" When we get to Guelston, I'll get you a cat and you can name it Grey or White, or Ginger if you like. and for the princess i buy you a dog who you can name black or gold" Jacob said to you and Maisie.

both of them kept arguing. Maisie wanted to keep it as a pet while Jacob thought it was childish and unnecessary. Later he stepped on a egg. He walked backwards and you just stood there. He walked on more and more eggs. Later some yellow creatures got out of it. One of them started to roar. More and more popped up and started to roar

" Best be going" Jacob said.

You, Jacob and Maisie ran out to the water. Later the yellow creatures caught up to you and they were everywhere.

" Maybe they're bonded to us, like geese" Maisie said a while trying to get out. You struggeld

" oh so they will never leave us okay. thanks for that information kiddo" You said and were a little irriterad.

" It's the mother goose I'm worried about" Jacob said while groaning trying to get out. He liftet one and helped you get up only to see the trees moving. Later came the mother and she was not happy.

" There she is. now come on, lass" Jacob said and looked at the monster with terror.

" Oh look she looks like my mom when i sneak out" You said as the little monsters were going to their mother. You ran with Jacob to the little boat and pushed it into  the water. You helped Maisie up and when the boat was finally in the water you jumped on

You saw the monster was still following and you saw one of the babies on Jacob. Maisie quickly threw it to the mother. Jacob looked at Maisie

" Hold the rudder" Jacob said as he pulled up a map. He looked over to you who was still looking at the mom creature and her babies.

" If we can make it to Rum Pepper island we'll be able to flag a ship" Jacob  said and that caught your attention. After he talked you looked behind him with terror

" Maybe a little off my game here" Jacob said while a big claw was going towards you. Jacob grabbed you and Maisie and cowerd you. The giant look like crab took the little ship and lifted it making you and Maisie fall off.

" Jacob!" You and Maisie screamed and you held Maisie close to you

" Y/n, Maisie" Jacob screamed and was holding on to the ship. He tried to catch his spear

The crab pulled Jacob to their mouth and Jacob struggeld but then the Bluster came. Jacob feel into the water and saw his spear. The Bluster attacked the crab.

" Hold on Maisie and y/n" Jacob said as he road his boat. You and Maisie glided the you started gliding backwards. You and Maisie held on to the crab. The crab then started going on to a cliff. It grabbed the Blusters horn. You saw it struggel. The Maisie ran towards the crabs eyes

" Maisie what are you doing" You asked and ran after her. Then you notice that she was distracting it and it lost its grip on the Bluster. Both you and Maisie feel intp the water. Maisie went unconsious and you tried to wake her up. Later Blue came to your rescue

" Maisie. Y/n. MAISIE, Y/N!" Jacob screamed as he didn't see you. The You and Maisie came up. you gasped for air.

" Good boy" Maisie said and you swam to the boat. Jacob helped first Maisie then you. You notice a hole in the boat.

" We have to go back"

" We'll never make it"

" It depends on how fast you two can bail" Jacob said and gave you both a bucket.

Later they argued again if Red could take them back home. You just stared at the Bluster

" Hey Red, See this little guy, this is you. This is me, this is her and this is him" Maisie said and showed Red some fruits.

" We need to get over there" Maisie said and pointed over the sea. She tried to convince her more but then she just dove away.

" Well, if she does understand ya, she don't wanna help. Bright side, she didn't eat both of ya. Now both of you get bailing" Jacob said and you reached for your bucket when the bottom became red...

Is she gonna help us...
